"Maria Cristina and her daughter Alice were the nicest and most gracious hosts. When we arrived, it was an unusually cold day and Maria Cristina came back with an extra bed quilt for my wife. It turned out that the house is so well insulated (stone walls) that it never got too cold.The property is beautiful with dozens of Olive and fruit trees and roses. The back view is of rolling hills that extend for miles. From the front porch you can see the Tyrrhenian Sea. The yard is adjacent to a horse corral where about 20 horses are kept. My wife enjoyed feeding them carrots and apples. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and feels like you are out in the country, which you are, but it is only a few minutes walk into town. The best of both worlds.The house is fairly large and probably bigger than most of the homes in Cerveteri. We only used the ground floor, but there is an upper loft area with two single beds which would be perfect for two children. The kitchen is fairly large and well equipped, including two refrigerators (but no microwave oven). The main floor has a library area by the entrance, a dining area and a living room with a television and fireplace. Attached to the house, is a brick oven (pizza oven) with a large supply of wood for creative chefs. The bathroom has a standup shower with an endless supply of hot water (I think there is an on demand water heater). There is also a clothes washer.We would definitely stay there again. Alice gets an A for hospitality!"

"This is an amazing place with lots of nature. Very helpful and kind family and caretakers of the place. Taxi is difficult here but they were able to manage us get one. Great food and they cater you well as your needs. Thank you for everything!"
