"A real gem in the Tug Hill! The hosts (and their pooches) are friendly and gracious. The setting and environment is mostly quiet and secluded except for the occasional ATV racket piercing the stillness. The frozen sausage, cheese and egg biscuits provided were surprisingly tasty. Two minor issues: if utilizing the air conditioner, the curtains must be left open relegating your privacy as secondary because the walkway to the rooms passes directly in front of the only room window. Also, the coffee is horrible! Suggest bringing your own coffee pods."

"We had an amazing trip!! Having the lake right out the back door, with a dock we were able to launch our boats at the free launch 1.5miles down the road and tie to the dock for the week. The house was amazing and had even more amenities than we had expected such as paper goods etc. We will most DEFINITELY be booking again next year!! I can’t recommend this place enough!!"

"The cottage is extremely clean and cozy and has many nice amenities. The kitchen is fantastic, bedrooms beautiful and comfortable, plenty of nice spaces to gather and eat or play games. The decor is elegant and genuinely charming—cottagey but not twee. :)All the details are thought through: everything is labeled so you don’t have to guess to find the right light switch; there is a lighter and s’more sticks and wood for the fire pit; we used our own dog crate but there was a crate and bowls there if we had needed them; lots of coffee and tea with different brewing methods available; even a full Brita pitcher in the fridge when we arrived. We didn’t even try out the Bluetooth speaker or other tech amenities; I’m pretty sure music was available if we’d thought to use it. My teens did try the kayaks and had a great time!The stairs to the second floor are steep (as it says in the property description) and all the bedrooms are upstairs. So probably not the best choice for those with mobility issues or very small kids who could fall. But it was a great place for us! I would also add that there is a half bath upstairs so you don’t have to go downstairs to the full bath in the middle of the night if you need the facilities.We would totally recommend this property, and Anne was easy to reach and helpful with questions. No issues with check in and reasonable check out expectations."
