Class 2-bedroom Southern cottage located on a park

Nice, functional cottage on quiet, tree-lined street across from a nice park; this is the place at which you want to stay in Sanford; outfitted in a thrifty yet sufficient manner; great front porch; only hitch was identifying the WiFi password which we worked through; we would definitely stay here again

Amazing Little Bungalow!

Our stay was great, the level of detail in the renovations as well as the extra efforts taken to provide comfort and experience were very evident. The linens were high quality and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. I had to communicate more than most VRBO stays due to some logistical changes and Wayne was very accommodating and responsive. Historic Sanford is very charming with plenty to do within walking distance. The entire family was happy, I highly recommend this rental!

Larger than it looks!

This home looks small from the pictures but then you walk inside and it has so much room! I was really impressed with its beauty, the amenities and its charm. I cooked Christmas dinner here for some friends from out of town. I will definitely book it again! You can walk downtown to all of the shopping and stores but its far enough away to where you dont hear any noise. Id say a 10 minute walk if you stroll and a 3 minute drive.

Charming cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in this charming cottage in the historic district. It was perfectly equipped for our needs, very clean, and conveniently located where we could walk to shops and restaurants easily. It was also very quiet and felt very safe. We had an issue with the smoke alarm at first, and Wayne came over right away to address the issue. We plan to return next year.

Perfect little place!

This cute cottage is clean, well stocked, convenient, and comfortable. A perfect place to stay while attending our son’s wedding across the park at Venue 1902. We’d love to come back!

Wonderful

What a cute cottage! It is centrally located and near our family we were visiting. It is well stocked and was very clean! Would definitely stay again when we come to visit family for an extended period of time.

Check-in easy. Very comfortable, nice amenities. Great AC. Did have issue where shower frequently lost hot water but property owner was quick to respond and offered solution (run faucets in bathroom so I while taking a shower keeps water in shower hot). Would def stay again if in area.

The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed with charming furniture and Fine Art on the walls it even had coffee for us to use and we really appreciate that, little snacks we were provided, the towels were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable a city park was across the street which made us feel like we were alone on the street very nice

Great house, great location

Loved this house. Someone did a great job with setting this house up. Everything made sense. Light switches were where you would think they would be, hooks in the right spot. Often times when we VRBO you have to take an hour to figure out how to turn lights, tv and fan on. Clean and well thought out. Appreciated the snacks and stuff as well. Perfect location close to downtown Sanford. We walked down there every morning and had a great walk and breakfast. Highly recommend if you are looking for a stay in Sanford this is a great spot.

Great Florida Getaway

When we arrived it was no surprise this property had a 10/10 review. It’s a beautiful home; we loved the layout, and the decor and design were very well thought out. The appliances are new and worked very well. We loved the simple door lock type combo for easy coming and going. The house is historical but clearly renovated and very well sealed. We had a one technical hiccup come up, and Wayne was quick to respond and got it addressed immediately. He was the perfect combo of there when you needed him but respectful and leaving us be. I can’t say enough good things. We love the area and the house. It was perfect for our two kids and me and my partner. Can’t wait to stay there again on our next visit!

Cute place

This was a well-maintained home that was the perfect size for our small family of four. It was clean on arrival and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, using the firepit at night, and walking to nearby coffee shops and other attractions. We did have a 1 year-old and 2 year-old in tow, so we especially appreciated the fact that the property had no stairs to worry about. We had to put some of the delicate trinkets out of reach and get creative with sleeping arrangements since we were flying and couldn't bring a pack-n-play, but that's wasn't a detractor for us at all since the place was so nice and the owners were great. Would happily stay here again!

Place of Enchantment

Author Marjorie Rawlings wrote" "I don't know how anyone can live without finding some small place of enchantment to turn to." This cottage is such a place. The owners have thought of every convenience and amenity and furnished them with quality items. The beds are super comfortable and the cottage impeccably clean; and oh, so cozy! I loved Cheryl's decor so, that I took pictures of every room and vignette so I could "copy" them at home:-) If you haven't already...book this cottage now.

Peaceful Cottage

My husband and I stayed for 2:weeks on a business trip recently. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and close to all the downtown shops and restaurants but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. A park is across the street and is a great place to walk a dog or let children run and play. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch in the mornings seeing the beautiful park. The surrounding neighborhood was also nice for walking every morning. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and the washer and dryer came in handy since we were there for 2 weeks. The queen size bed was on the soft side but comfortable enough. There was plenty of closet space also. A nice sized table in the dining room was a great space to work on since we were there on business. This cottage had everything we needed for our 2 weeks. It was a wonderful stay and we will be back. Thank you!

Beautiful house Peaceful neighborhood!

My mom, my sister, my wife and I all stayed in this peaceful little home when we were in Sanford for our daughter’s graduation. The house is a beautiful historical home in great condition and fully stocked. It only has one bathroom, which can be challenging, but we knew that ahead of time. We had an issue with the bathroom faucet, but the owner was responsive and I think he’ll have it fixed for future renters. The best thing about this property however is the location. The neighborhood is nice but the location right on the little park is superb! The only sound that can be heard from early in the morning to mid-day is the chirping of birds and we found ourselves relaxing on the front porch for hours each day. The constant refrain for our visit was “I can’t believe how peaceful this is!” Not only is it peaceful but it is close enough to the historic downtown area that you can easily walk to lunch, dinner, or the the farmers market a couple blocks away. Highly recommended!
