Very peaceful
Beautiful lake view. Enjoyed sitting at the dining set on the dock or in the screened porch. Movies, books and more amusements available. Look through all unlocked closets and cabinets on arriving if your’re a planner like I am.

Perfect location that fits all our needs. Went to Sanford for a soccer tournament and was able to go back to the house to relax and even caught 2 fish! There were 7 of us and we had so much fun and plenty of room to spread out. Will go again if we are able.

Christmas on the Lake
This home is exactly what we needed as we celebrated the holidays with my brother who lived nearby. The owners were great communicators, the house had everything we needed ( including plenty of dishes bowls etc as we ate at the house often). The boys fished a few days and had some luck the 2 nd day catching bass. It’s a 40 yr old house with new floors, paint, and shower heads, but everything worked well. The covered dock is beautiful. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Bring nightlights if you walk around at night, it’s pretty dark. We’d stay here again!

Our family of 4 has stayed at Jay’s home consecutive years and we always look forward to coming back. The property has everything we need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well stocked and provides everything we need for a week long stay.

We enjoyed our stay as usual. Beautiful little lake house. Caught a little bass i the morning on the dock. Lots of wildlife around lake. Jay as always is a awesome host I would highly recomend staying at one of his properties. I know i will again.

Perfect place for our stay!
We came up for a family wedding, location was just 12 minutes away so that was great! The place was perfect for our stay, we made a weekend out of it and drove a short 30 min to blue springs which was amazing! Backyard has a beautiful lake view, we even had dinner out on the dock one night! Host was super accommodating and we had everything we needed. Would stay again if we’re ever back in the area!

Wonderful Lake House
We had a great stay at Jay and Theresa’s lake house in Sanford over 4th of July. The house was clean and stocked with everything needed for our stay. Communication was immediate and the lake view was incredible. We travel to Sanford a few times a year to watch our son play baseball at Boombah and we will be looking to boom this property every visit moving forward.

A Nice Escape
The Lake House provided a nice, quiet escape from the maddening crowds. I'm sure it's busier at other times of the year, but these days the entire neighborhood was very peaceful. The house is spacious and well-equipped. Jay was easy to reach and quick to respond. Would stay again.

Great house
This house was great. It exceeded my expectations. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was just what I was looking for. The backyard has an amazing view and I really enjoyed the back deck patio area. The owners allowed us to do an early check-in which was great and had pretty much everything we needed in the house to accommodate us. I will definitely be using this property again when I come back to Florida. It was beautiful!

I can’t help but wonder what I did wrong. :-( I worked very hard to arrange an early check in and you also checked out late without asking, causing the cleaning crew to wait and I still gave you 5 stars. You had no complaints or concerns when I spoke with you and said it was working out great. Sorry but I’m very confused.

All bed linings need a good washing including conforters. Dust on door frames in clear sight. Dirty dishes in draws. Nice house, just needs more effort put towards cleaning

I’m so sorry you were unhappy with your stay. I guarantee all linens were clean as well as the dishes. I know the cleaners changed their schedule to give you an early check in that you asked for but they still did a full cleaning. If anything was missed, I just wish you would have let us know when you were there so we could have taken care of it immediately.

Charming lakeside house
Jay and Teresa have a charming little lakeside getaway. We were able to stay only the one night before hurricane Nicole made a visit, so we weren’t able to enjoy all that Samford had to offer. The hosts are great communicators and are very accommodating; the house was very clean; the beds and furnishings were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch on the edge of the lake, feeling safe from the wind and rain :-) Only downside was the sound of the highway from across the lake. We’re sorry we didn’t get to complete our stay because of the weather.

Outstanding Home and Location
This is a great property on a beautiful lake with easy access to all major toll roads and interstates. The dock is beautiful and I spent many hours there making memories with my sons fishing. It’s a wonderful home with sleep number beds in the master and 1 of the quest rooms. Jay is very attentive and easy to communicate with. It’s out second time staying in one of his places and I’m sure there will be more to come.

Although the property could use some updating especially in the kitchen, the property served it purpose for what our group needed. The owners have multiple vehicles and trailers on site and there is a strong odor of gasoline coming from the garage. The property owners communicated great.

Great little place on the lake!
Very cool little place in a quiet, clean neighborhood with easy access to the Sanford sites. Stayed here with my 3 brothers and mom to celebrate her 89th birthday. The house has an awesome peir and dock on Lake Ada with very nice views of the Lake from the house. We cooked several meals and used the nice gas grill on the screened in porch out back. The house was clean and comfortable with a nice TV and plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely stay here again if an occasion arises.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood.
The house was exactly as described. Plenty of room, stocked with dishes/coffee maker/etc. The view of the lake was amazing and we were right there! A turtle even laid eggs in the back yard while we were there.

Great Time!!
This was a great place to stay. Loved being on the lake and seeing it in the morning. It was also great because only about a 30 minute drive to Orlando or 1 hour to Old Town but if you didn't want to go somewhere else there were plenty of restaurants in Sanford. Hoping to go back at some point and just relax and enjoy the ambience.

Spectacular house and setting!
Corina and I and our 3 kids (ages 10, 11, & 12) absolutely LOVED the long dock on the lake! Liam caught 13 bluegill by using only earthworms! It made his day! The big screen TV in the living room was a highlight, too! Thanks so much to Jay and Teresa for allowing us to savor some great memories for years to come!

Amazing, Awesome, Must Stay!
We had a fantastic stay at this Sanford lake house! Amazing views, quick and easy communication with the hosts, clean house stocked with all the essentials we needed (and even a few we didn't think to bring!), great location close enough to the "tourist-y" fun of Florida... Can't say enough good things about this property! We even got a few swims in the Lake, which was an unexpected added bonus. If you are considering a stay, I highly recommend!
