"This is an old property in a scenic village in the Catalan countryside which has been converted into a luxury hostal, with spacious and well-fitted suites. No amenities on site but there are several good eateries with 5 minutes walk. A nice place for exploring the area from Figueres to Cadaques. "

Quiet and lovely - Wonderful breakfast provided - Friendly staff, particularly David who was most helpful - short drive to all three locations above. - Medieval feel as the rooms are attached to a winery. The building is very old. Negatives: - Bed was quite firm, common in Europe. "

"Excellent food both at breakfast and in the lovely restaurant. Both rooms have incredible sea views which we greatly appreciated. The spa and the outdoor therapy pool were nicely appointed. Our massages were arranged on our arrival and were perfect. We were there on cool overcast days so we didn’t take advantage of the beach directly across from the hotel. But it was tempting. They made us and our dogs welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay at La Elmes. "
