"I recommend better instructions on how to lock the door. I suggest; instead of stating "pull up on the handle" rephrase to "lift the door handle upwards in a counterclockwise direction", this action is needed to lock the door from the inside and outside."

"Stayed for six nights in August 2026. The property is exceptionally clean and just as shown. Very quiet. Excellent location and views. The food just down the street a couple blocks is much better than normal beach food …namely Thario’s and Padaro Beach Grill. Would definitely come back."

"The house was clean, spacious and had all the things/amenities we needed. The information for check-in arrived late but it was easy and smooth to get into the house. Instructions were clear. Lots of games, DVDs, and activities for families included. It was very close to the Rincon Beach Resort for the wedding we attended. The only thing is the air conditioning was not consistent throughoutnthe house. Some rooms were hot and others were cool."

"We had a wonderful stay! Everything we needed was there. It was very clean, aesthetically pleasing, enjoyed our private outdoor area as well as the community space. The owners were helpful and communicative to any questions we had as well as it was evident in their attention to detail that they take care xtra care of the property. Looking forward to coming back soon!"

"This VRBO was so beautiful! Located in a more upscale, friendly neighborhood. People in the community were so approachable and went out of their way to say hello! Here are the highlights: spotless and clean, comfortable bed and couch, big living room, plenty of closet space, modern bathroom with a “rain” style shower, gorgeous Bali-inspired decor. This place is located on the 2nd floor (top floor). Loved it because there was no noise. Even during the 4th of July weekend, it was peaceful and Summerland had nobody setting off illegal fireworks. What a nice surprise! We slept through the night easily! The full kitchen has everything you need, plenty of Brita water filter, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and an espresso machine etc. The fridge came with free beverages (Fiji water, sparkling water, Coca Cola, coconut water etc). And free snacks: pretzels, potato chips. There’s a nice outdoor patio that overlooks a quiet residential parking lot and outdoor Bali-inspired garden with Buddha statues. Lots of birds including hummingbirds. A gorgeous hiking garden is across the street and fantastic restaurant/cafe. We got gourmet coffee every morning. All within a block from this VRBO. The ocean is very close, just across the freeway. Carpenteria and Santa Barbara are a quick 10 minute drive! Natty, the host, provided the best service we’ve ever experienced and was so accommodating and friendly! Providing a 5-star resort experience. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!! "

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and felt very private. The host was very responsive when we needed a couple extra towels. We really took advantage of the two outdoor sitting areas. This rental is in a fantastic area between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. We would stay here again for sure!"
