The old saying, "You get what you pay for" is exactly what I experienced. My room was fine but it looked dirty even though it was clean. The place seemed old and gave off those "uncleaned" vibes. However, my bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Both were indoors which I found highly preferable. For the price, I would stay again.

The hotel itself was fantastic. Remodeled, good location, nice staff. Unfortunately we had the upstairs neighbors intentionally making all kind of noise all night with no respect for other guests. That was the only negative.

The staff were very nice, and the room was very clean. Theres plenty of parking, and the pool/ hottub is open until 10. I wasn't aware of the $100 deposit upon checking in, which you don't get back until 3 buisness days later, which felt sketchy especially because the room itself was $160. The phone in the room didn't turn on, which isn't much of an inconvenience, but we did have to walk to the office for more towels. One of our hand towels looked dirty (had a large black smudge). The AC worked great, and we had a nice view. Overall, I'd give the Surf City Inn a 6/10.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews on this hotel so I was a little nervous before checking in. I called on our way to see if it was possible to get a bottom floor room as we were brining our bikes. They accommodated me no questions asked. They are dog friendly and in an excellent location! Close to the boardwalk and tons of food. Our room was great for what we needed plus tons of room for our 3 bikes. We had hot water and AC.

Positive+ - Room was nice, all the switches and lights were working, hot water in the shower, comfy bed with room service while we were out. Close to the Boardwalk! Negative- - Outside trash bins were overfilled, no one at the lobby (you check in via computer), no security (2 weirdos lurking around overnight, car was broken into via smashed window) and the hot tub was maybe 74⁰F at most. It was the cheapest option, if you're looking to rest your head, its ok, but as a multiple night stay maybe look elsewhere
