Sunset Villa- Off Artist Road and Bishops's Lodge.

The Perfect Santa Fe retreat just a short 4 block stroll to the Plaza. This contemporary stucco townhome on Sunset and Artist Road is perfectly located to all the shops, trendy restaurants, museums and amazing galleries. In keeping with the Santa Fe Style all new furniture, rugs, art and fabrics from around the globe have updated this 2380 square foot 3 bedroom 3.5 bath property as of August 2021.

The main floor has high ceilings, hand plastered walls, concrete floors, a double-sided gas fireplace and tall windows that bring the outside in. The kitchen on the main floor displays granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with a fully appointed kitchen. The main floor dining table seats 8 and the adjoining alcove has a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests. There are two doors leading out to the wrap around flagstone patio that has three beautiful aspen trees, patio furniture and a grill for outdoor entertaining. Two onsite parking spaces and street parking as well.

The second level offers two bedrooms. The primary king bedroom has a wonderful spacious deck to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage as you gaze up on the panoramic sunrise Sangre and sunset Jemez views. The in-suite spacious bathroom offers both a steam shower and jacuzzi soaking tub with a large sink for two. The second queen bedroom with in-suite walk-in shower bath also has a smaller connecting deck for your outdoor enjoyment.

Back to the main level and off the kitchen is a private door leading you to the a fully functioning Wi-Fi enabled office space with printer and scanner. As you walk down the steps from this office area to the third bedroom with a king bed and in-suite walk-in shower bath, a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, wet bar and coffee pot accommodates your immediate needs. This third bedroom can be used as a private studio as there is an additional door on street level that allows you private access. An ideal home for any family or group who want the Santa Fe experience! Approximately 2380 square feet.

This was our second stay at Sunset Villa. The property has everything you want and then some! The home is so beautiful and tranquil you'll be tempted to just stay put and enjoy. The location cannot be beat, with many of the main Santa Fe sights just steps away and easily reached Sunset Villa gives you the best of both relaxation and exploring. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best vacation homes we’ve ever rented! We really loved everything about it. The location is excellent. Easy access of the mountain to all of the hiking trails into the ski resort & Ten Thousand Waves. The ambience of the home is a 10! We loved the decor and the layout! It’s great if you want to have some space to recharge after a day of sightseeing & hiking. We loved all of the outdoor spaces & the home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. I definitely give this home 10!!

Perfect Santa Fe Escape

This property was close enough to walk to most Santa Fe site seeing. Lots of great restaurants near by. The house was a wonderful retreat, with lots of areas to relax. Great outside seating! Very comfortable and clean!

Beautiful property

Overall this was a lovely property with many amenities. The home is filled with beautiful artwork and furnishings. Our family enjoyed the accommodation and there was plenty of room for being able to hang out together.The only problem we encountered was check in due to some confusion with the directions. Lauren was willing to compensate us for this initial stress and we appreciated her concern and responsiveness. We would highly recommend this home!!

Place gets rave reviews and they are all true! We rent homes often and this one was the best stocked we've ever been in. So much room to spread out yet great space to be together. Walking distance to plaza, railyard, canyon road, even the grocery store ..would stay again if ever in Santa Fe.

Santa Fe - Happy Stay!

The 501 SUNSET STREET #D villa is a wonderful place for a family gathering in Santa Fe. We experienced an unusual winter storm which made exploring Santa Fe difficult. Instead we enjoyed family time in the beautiful surroundings provided by the Sunset Villa. It was warm and cozy and met all our needs. Brian and his team at Santa Fe Vacation Rentals did an excellent job removing snow and supporting our stay. Highly recommend!

Loved this home. Perfect for 3 couples or family of four. Great layout and location. Only complaint was VRBO listing the jacuzzi in the master as a hot tub. Search the whole property looking for a hot tub outside but learn that it was actually the indoor Jacuzzi tub. Great Hom highly recommend it.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Beautiful spacious and comfortable villa with lovely decor and outdoor spaces. Wonderful amenities include high-end linens, Molton Brown bath products, complimentary Fiji water, and an ice-maker. Convenient coffee bar. Unit is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and extra towels, bed linens and paper goods. Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Note that a vehicle is necessary to get to the Plaza and other sites. Two convenient parking places in front of unit. Management Company was very helpful.

Fabulous property near old town

The property was very upscale. Main floor kitchen upgraded appliances, open floor plan including large dining room and sitting areas. Downstairs "studio" included office loft area. Master upstairs with jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and third bedroom-all ensuite. Two great outdoor spaces, balcony off the master bedroom and main floor patio with pass thru fireplace, comfortable seating, and dining table. Less than 1 mile to old town (although a climb coming back). Would love to stay here again.

Superior Property!

This is a superior property in every way. The location is just perfect, the area is very quiet, and the property is beautiful. By far, the nicest, most well appointed and furnished VRBO I have ever stayed in. The linens/towels/bedding were of excellent quality. The kitchen had every gadget needed, and was large and perfect for cooking. The outdoor grill worked beautifully. The layout of the home was perfect for us - the bedrooms well spaced out, and the main floor had an o-en floor plan with lots of seating. The location to downtown is perfect - a couple of us chose to walk downtown, and several opted to drive (2-3 minutes). There wasn’t a single negative about this property - they deserve a six star rating!

The stay, overall, was great.There were a few housekeeping issues. Towels were folded and hung, but were still wet, one of the pillows had large spots of mold on it, there were crumbs on the floor throughout the home and the backyard patio was unswept. There were only 3 small shampoo bottles for 4 guests and no conditioner in one of the bathrooms.There were also signs of wear: the sink faucets were loose and wobbly, one of the large floor tiles in the master bathroom was not glued or grouted, and the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms didn't work.The listing also says it has a hot tub, but I think the jjacuzzi bath tub in the master was listed as the hot tub. And the one time we reached out to the manager when we couldn't get the tv to work, we didn't receive a response, but we eneded up figuring it out.None of these were big a big deal for us - just a bunch of small issues that we were able to work around.The positives:- The house is gorgeous.- The layout of the main floor (kitchen, living room, dining room, and backyard patio) is great for gathering and spending time with each other.- The indoor/outdoor fireplace is beautiful. Takes a few minutes to start putting out heat, but once it gets going it really warms up the space.- The location was spectacular - we were able to see the fireworks and drone display and hear the music for the burning of Zozobra festival and the home is just a couple block walk from the plaza.Overall, pretty happy with this place

Santa Fe Villa off Artist Road

Just a beautiful home...Very, very nice residence easily sleeps 6...description says .4 miles from the square. It's actually closer to .6 but you'd never want to walk it as it is very hilly...after walking to the square and then all around the square for the day, you'd never want to have to walk uphill to this beautiful villa. I believe it's a great place to stay but don't think you're going to walk to the square...It was very convenient to shop the square all day and then only have a 3-4 minute drive back to this Villa. I've stayed at a few other places in Santa Fe and this was definitely the best place we've ever stayed.

From the moment we walked in the door of Sunset Villa we loved it. As we explored, we were even more impressed. The space was perfect with each of us having our own bedroom and en suite bath. The beds were super comfortable. The decor was absolutely lovely - we kept commenting on the art work, the pottery, and all the other little touches that made us feel like we were staying in someone's beautifully decorated home. The kitchen was well supplied - there was nothing we would have wanted that was not supplied. The outdoor area was beautifully maintained and a great place to have coffee in the mornings. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. It provided us a great location and beautiful home from which to explore Santa Fe and the surrounding area.
