Inturotel Cala Azul

"Our fourth time back here and it just has everything you want and need for a lovely family holiday. We really enjoyed the renovation to both hotels, it looks much more modern. The pools are not crowded and they are strict about leaving towels out. The evening shows are great and our children loved the new splash park. Esmerelda beach is a 5 min walk away but we prefer Cala Ferreira as it is bigger and less plastic in the sea! Breakfast buffet is phenomenal as always and cater for gluten free diners. Housekeeping staff are so friendly and cleaning is immaculate. Lots of activities and friendly entertainment team. There is a shop on sight but use the SPAR at the top of the road for more choice. Great nearby restaurants and a mini train or bus to the port. A fab family holiday. Notes for improvement: Our room was described as superior but just looked like the ones we had stayed in previously. There are not enough staff or tables and chairs out at Esmerelda for the shows, they will really struggle in high season!! There used to be a place to leave your inflatables/buckets spades etc. now there is none which doesn’t fit with the eco theme!"

"We liked the quiet part of the adult only. Our room was a little bit loud as it was basically over the entrance, so hearing a lot of talk. As for the facilities they are good. We had the half board plan, breakfast was good but dinner was so-so. One thing I did not appreciate with the half board was the fact we had to buy the water for the dinner. I understand the part about drinks but water and your paying basically 350 euros per night."

"This property was amazing! The hotel was clean and more than what we were expecting! The staff were friendly and helpful! The amenities and food were great! There was parking on site for our car and super close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here. We will stay here again 100%"

"Jätte fint rum, modernt och fräscht. Vi bodde i annexet där vi hade ett litet men fint pool område. Personalen var hjälpsamma och mycket trevliga. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell varmt. Nära till stranden, bussen, restauranger och barer."

"Exceptional stay! Worth every penny. The service was friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views on every direction. Food was absolutely delicious in restaurants. Only downside, very family oriented with lots of little children. There were some adult only pools and areas that made up for it, during entertainment nights (some until 12:00am) be prepared to have a bunch of kids running around. Even with all the kids I would still highly recommend."
