A hotel which has everything I needed, located in Downtown core of Santiago. Was generally comfortable. Basic room with full washroom, fridge, microwave , plates etc.. Located very close and walking distance to many historical sites, plus Santa Lucia. Full grocery store about 5 minutes away, plus many small shops and cafes. Perfect for a short visit.

Great location, walkable to the key tourist sights. I had the loft which was spacious and had a wonderful view overlooking the Andes in the backdrop. The furnishings were a bit old but it didn’t bother us. Fantastic value for money. Very happy with the accommodation. The reception lady of the night shift was very helpful.

The location and the staff were good, easy for exploring the old town and willing staff to assist when needed. We chose the Loft apartment, sold on the marketing images of views to the Andes and ideas of sipping Pisco Sours on the balcony after a day of blissful exploration of the city. Sadly the experience was quite the opposite with perhaps a glimpse of a mountain - whether that was the Andes or not was difficult to tell between the large office and apartment blocks and the smog of Santiago. The balcony was, well, not a balcony - instead a suggestion of what a balcony could be if it was an actual balcony, definitely too small to swing a cat and thus no cats were harmed! Perhaps our own fault for believing too much into the marketing images, but fellow travellers be aware. If you are looking for a centrally located, clean and secure place to stay on your visit Santiago, this is your choice. Just don't expect the views or the Pisco sours on the balcony.

Classy loft

Beautiful classy apartment in the centre of Santiago. We had everything we needed for our stay. Great view of the city and the mountains too. We liked the city and the apartment so much that we extended our stay twice. Great staff at the reception too.

Near subway. Comfy bed. Lots of dinning options close by. Decent kitchen but there were no forks and knives, though there was a kitchen knife. The veranda door didn’t close properly and there was a large gap, letting in cold air. It got into the low 30s at night. Maintanance fixed it up but I wish I didn’t have to ask them to fix it. The room was quiet enough for me even though it was facing the street.

We really liked the location. This was a great property although pretty noisy. The mini split in the unit itself was noisy. May just need some maintenance. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Park Plaza Apart Hotel

Great place in great location. Walkable to restaurants, grocery, pharmacies, and shopping. Room was very clean and provided shampoo, hair dryer, etc. Stayed in a loft with full kitchen and a balcony on 16th floor providing great city view. Another smaller balcony off the bedroom. Bed was comfy. A/C was great on main level but the upstairs stayed quite warm. A ceiling fan over the bed made it cooler.

Great location overlooking Santa Lucia Hill. However, the street noise seemed to carry over even in high floors. Santiago is a bustling city. The staff are highly commendable - warm, friendly and helpful. Gave us a few good tips. Great service & communication in English.

The Loft is great for long stay, loads of space and kitchen area very good. Nice to have laundry room for travellers like us - would be great if it had a changing coin machine. Area around felt a bot unsafe due to homeless people. Although it is very central and easy to walk everywhere.

Great apartment let down by badly placed AC unit

The air conditioning unit is on the ground floor, so it does absolutely nothing to cool the bedroom on the mezzanine floor. The only way we could manage to keep the room cool enough to sleep was to always keep the blackout curtains closed during our stay. Other than that, the apartment is very clean and has basic kitchen equipment. It is in a large residential complex with a laundry, gym and pool. It has a good location for central Santiago shops and museums.
