Santorini Hotel Guide - Hotels with Bar in Santorini, South Aegean

"I cannot fault the location at all. The area and the views from this hotel are stunning. My experience for this stay was very bad none the less. Here is a list of the problems I encountered in something like order of how concerning they were. Minor annoyances: -I am 6'2" and ~170lbs. The doors throughout the hotel are too short for me to walk through upright. This wouldn't have been as much of a problem if the door to our suite (102) would have been wide enough to walk through without turning sideways. They were double doors with only one of them having a knob. You can open the second only after you open the first and reach through to unlatch it from the inside. -The hot water lasted less than a minute in the shower. Our stay was during off-peak season so I am unsure if all the suites were even full and we could not get enough hot water to finish a single fast shower. Major Problems: -"

"View from.the room is stunning, but glass panes/windows were not cleaned so it was a bit frustrating. But a lot of repairs are overdue for the amenities. Staff is helpful and polite, reception /check-in was amicable and helpful."

"The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, with an incredible caldera view that truly stands out and makes the entire stay memorable. The place was clean and everything matched what was described on the property page, which made the stay very reliable and comfortable. Since we did not have a rental car, the property was helpful in arranging taxis for us whenever needed. The property also had two bathrooms, one of which had an open concept design. This was not an issue for us. There are quite a few stairs to climb, but that is expected for the location and part of the overall experience. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. We didn’t get the Expedia perk of 1 beverage per 2 people per stay. "

"I loved my stay at Santorini Palace, this is a really beautiful and well-maintained property, with great views of areas of the island. My room was excellent, clean and comfortable, very spacious and cozy. The staff all over the hotel is friendly and attentive. Food was average, and as everything in Santorini a bit overpriced. The hotel is located in the heart of Firostefani, very close to the town of Fira and Imerovigli, where you can easily walk from the hotel. Just steps away from the main entrance you can have the stunning views of the Caldera from the Three Bells of Fira lookout point."

"We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. The views were incredible and the balcony was a perfect finishing touch. We spent 3 nights in the lux suite and 3 nights in the honeymoon suite. Both were amazing so I'd recommend either. The staff were always on hand and couldn't do enough; from front desk, to cleaners, restaurant staff and maintenance. I didn't get the guys name who runs the pool bar and restaurant but he is an asset to the hotel. One of the best experiences of customer care, hospitality and their amazing use of the property they have. If I come back to Santorini, this is where I am staying. Take my advice and book here."

"The staff went above and beyond for us. The entire hotel was very clean and the smell of the lobby was to die for. The view was phenomenal and the food at the restaurant was super delicious. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. I will return and refer everyone I know to this hotel."
