Fabulous view
This house is all about the beautiful views from every room! The ocean, garden, farmland and city light vistas are stunning. And then you get a great open kitchen, living and dining floor plan, plus three comfortable bedrooms. Just perfect! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Home in paradise
The home was beautiful and comfortable for the four of us. You will need a car for your trip but exploring the island is well worth the expense!! Helena was absolutely amazing and accommodating with helping us get our luggage from the airport to the home and back again. We hope to get back sometime to check out the different seasons and take time to see the different islands as well.

Absolutely great residence in a quiet environment
Great property with views that are simply incredible. A bit away from any shopping, so buy your groceries on the way in from the airport. A rental car is a must. Our hostess, Helena was wonderful and provided a list of wonderful restaurants and other items. The property was very clean, modern, and well equipped. We enjoyed our occasional conversations with the owners via WhatApp. Highly recommended to all visitors to Pico.

Wonderful
The caretaker, Helena, was amazing. She was available to help us find the property, restaurants and even when we were lost (which was often). Doubt that any picture could show the actual beauty of the house or the view. I will forever miss cagarros doing their crazy song at night. The island was gorgeous and unique. There is not enough good I can say about our stay, except, I wish it had been longer. I will carry Pico, the cagarros and the caretaker forever in my heart.

Breathtaking view
What a beautiful property! Perfectly location for privacy and ultimate relaxation, and well located for day trips and restaurants. The house has huge doors/windows that open to the gorgeous ocean view and of Sao Jorges. Enchanting! We had a lovely time!

Wonderful hosts, outstanding view, beautiful house!
From the moment we entered we loved the house. We received a warm welcome by the host who had actually provided us with some bread, eggs, and coffee. We felt instantaneously welcome. The house was exactly how we had pictured it in our best imagination. Everything was clean, the bathrooms were nice, the living area comfortable to sit in when it was a little too chilly to be outside. The kitchen is very well stocked and we did not miss anything on the days we cooked ourself. The tips and information provided by the hosts are very detailed and helpful. There is absolutely NO negative think I can say. We had a wonderful time on Pico, the house was all we hoped for and we absolutely will be back. Thanks to our hosts for the warm welcome and wonderful environment provided!!!

The pictures barley do this beautiful home justice! The home is modern, comfortable, beautiful well stocked and so peaceful. The views from every room in the house are incredible! Morning rainbows
We had a wonderful week at this home and exploring Pico. The views are stunning and almost every morning there was a rainbow. Helena was very helpful with ideas of must sees and restaurants. All of which were great. It was nice to be able to walk to Magma restaurant when we were too tired from hiking to cook.

THE Atlantic Window
It is hard to know where to start. We knew we wanted to stay in this house from the moment we saw it - we booked 8 months in advance. And still. Nothing could have prepared us for how beautiful the setting was, and the pure delight of being in this home. We stayed two weeks so we had a chance to settle. It's full of light and the range of unobstructed ocean view and beyond, onto land, is greater than 180º. You can hear the sounds of the ocean, the birds, the livestock. The hydrangeas were stunning to see in their abundance around the house (and the island); the cagarros made us laugh every night. With the windows that cover the entire north side of the house, we had the sensation of always being outside so while the porch is lovely and comfortable, if the breeze picks up, you lose nothing by moving 10 ft to the south, into the house! This place provides both immensity of experience (so much blue!) and intimacy (it's set down off the road and there is nothing but pasture moving down the bluff in front of the house.) We came for both rest and adventure, and got both in equal measures. The blackout shades were a plus for finding our own rhythm. This is a quiet island - we loved it. We walked/hiked daily on trails all over the island. We swam in the piscina near the house. We cooked in (with fresh lemons and rosemary from the garden) and ate out (don't miss Ponta da Ihla Restaurant in Piedade.) Helena was a generous and responsive property manager. We enjoyed her tremendously. Estela and Mizé are quick responders, and warm, clear communicators. This home - its location high on the bluff, the windows, the range of what you can see: it is unique among the island homes. Our experiences on the island were fuller, richer because of our stay at the Atlantic Window.

Heaven on earth!!!
The property is absolutely lovely and well appointed. It is easy to cook because of the utensils and bowls, etc. The view from the kitchen makes cooking time a joy. The beds were comfortable, and the views as you wake up are amazing. We spent a week at the house as part of a month-long vacation. This was far and away the best location of our trip. We hope to come back in the future.

We just returned home from our first trip to the Azores and were so incredibly happy without choice to stay at this amazing property for our three nights on Pico. The views are spectacular, and the home had all of the things we needed - fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, washing machine, etc. The home was spotless and well appointed. We went to rest and relax and were not disappointed.

BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!
This house has the best views of any other house we found. We loved every second staying here. The house is extremely modern and comfortable. The bed is perfect along with the showers. It is in a great part of Pico and easy to get to from the airport. The grocery is 5 minutes away and has a good selection. We enjoyed exploring Pico very much.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt
Das Haus liegt malerisch gelegen. Ein Ort an dem man entspannen kann. Wir haben 16 Tage dort verbracht und die Aussicht auf das Meer und die wunderbare Natur genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist uneinnehmbar gelegen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und Küche ist fast ein wenig zu üppig. Hilfreich war auch das housekeeping, die gute Seele Helena. Thanks Ruben

Relaxing stay over the sea

fantastisch huis met geweldig uitzicht
Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.

Wir verbrachten traumhaft schöne Tage in einem sehr gemütlichen Haus! Es fehlte uns an nichts! Die Aussicht auf den Atlantik war atemberaubend und abends konnten wir sogar vom Bett aus die Sterne und die Milchstraße sehen!

Nous avons passé 9 nuits exceptionnelles dans cette maison. La vue est spectaculaire de partout dans la maison, du levé au souper, on a plus envie de sortir!!! L’équipement de la cuisine est comme à la maison. Tout est super propre. Helena est super accueillante et nous fait sentir chez nous. Mizé nous a contactée pour s’assurer de notre bien-être. La propriété est à 45 minutes de Madalena, Lava Homes sont les voisins. Ma conjointe est peureuse et on avait des difficultés avec les barrières d’une porte, à part cela tout était parfait. Wundervolles Haus mit einzigartiger Aussicht
Leider haben wir nur ein paar Tage auf Pico in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist super, es ist alles vorhanden. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin lief super, auch die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte problemlos. Der Ausblick aufs Meer und die Nachbarinsel Sao Jorge ist mit Sicherheit ein Highlight des Hauses. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und 4 wundervolle Tage hier verbracht. Besonders lustig war unsere erste Begegnung mit den Gelbschnabel-Sturmtauchern, die nach Sonnenuntergang unterhalb des Hauses an Land kommen. So eine Art von "Vogelgesang" haben wir noch nie zuvor gehört! Tipp: Noch 2 Sonnenliegen für die tolle Terrasse besorgen, dann ist alles wirklich perfekt ! Wir können das Haus sehr empfehen und sollten wir noch mal nach Pico reisen, dann kommen wir bestimmt wieder ins "Atlantic Window". Danke, dass wir dort wohnen durften.

Wunderschöner Bungalow in traumhafter Lage
Der Bungalow passt sich ideal in die wunderbare Natur an. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend aufgrund der beiden Bäder für 2 Familien. Ein Mietwagen ist allerdings nötig, dieser ist aber ohnehin zu empfehlen um auf der Insel alle Orte anzufahren.

Wunderschönes Haus mit sensationeller Aussicht
Schönes Haus mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Stimmungen mit Sonne, Wolken und Meer sind so faszinierend, das man ganz vergisst die Schönheit der Insel zu entdecken. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet, beim Kochen fehlt es an nichts. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben die Tage hier sehr genossen. Danke!

A wonderful place to stay!
The atlantic window is a perfect house on Pico. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necesairy things. We had a wonderful stay. The whole familie (parents, grandparents and kids (8+6)) were happy. For me (Dad), the beds were a bit too soft, but ok at the end. Thank you very much for beeing our host for almost one week. We will recommend the house to everybody.
