Great location, nice social spaces, has potential

We stayed here for a week with a fairly large family--the owner is very attentive to renters' needs and was helpful when there was an issue with a huge rain and a couple of leaks (this was a historic rain--so don't think those leaks are usually there). Good stuff: Two bedrooms on the ocean side where you can hear waves and look out on garden. Good open space outside. Pleasant veranda and seating area Excellent social spaces Free and working wifi Great TV/cable Lots and lots and lots of silverware Four of five bedrooms have ensuite bathroom. Fifth is right outside BR door Ceiling fans all work- some noisier than others. Bring earplugs. Unless you like to hear ocean. Almost right on beach. GREAT location Stuff that needs work: Lawn furniture is decrepit and has no cushions. Unusable. Fewer beach chairs that people who stay in house. Beach umbrella (only 1!) broken Beach tents were a mish-mash of parts--took us two hours to set it up Three bedrooms are on corridor to housekeeper's room. No view, no privacy, some noise from housekeeper. Fifth bedroom gets a view of laundry when done, and also hears laundry machine. If you cook, the plastic plates and decrepit pans are not a joy. Frankly, we were not fans of the housekeeper but she is available for extra cleaning, etc. Not sure you need it. I missed the privacy of having my own house. The best news is that the owner speaks English (hence my review in English) and when we called with issues, he got them resolved. He even bonused us an extra night because of the inconvenience of the rain. I can tell that they are working on making this house better and better. It is an excellent option for Guaeca, the best beach on the coast of Sao Paulo. Enjoy! And thanks, Charles!

Estadia muito agradável!!!

Passamos a semana do Natal nessa casa em Guaecá. Lugar lindo e muito tranquilo. A casa tem boa estrutura, em especial a sala e varanda aconchegantes. Acordar tão perto da praia é bom demais!! A Deise foi muito prestativa e eficiente durante toda a estadia. Adoramos e devemos voltar!

Adorei o imóvel, muito bem equipado com bom fogão, ar condicionado split em todos os dormitórios, perto da praia, ideal para quem tem crianças e pessoas idosas. A Deise (caseira da casa) é uma pessoa maravilhosa e atenciosa... Valeu a pena cada segundo nesta residência :)

Surpresa positiva na segunda estada

Após a primeira estada no imóvel no período de 23/02 à 01/03/2015, fomos surpreendidos positivamente, quando lá retornamos de 19 à 27/09/2015. Foram feitas muitas melhorias como: Instalação de ar condicionado em todos os quartos; substituição das instalações elétricas; reparos e pintura dos moveis de sala; substituição dos estofados da sala e do terraço; novas cadeiras de praia e tenda; troca do armário do quarto de casal; instalação de portão na saída para a área verde. Valorizo a iniciativa dos proprietários pela manutenção do imóvel que é essencial, considerando a localização privilegiada, mas que sofre os efeitos da maresia pela proximidade da praia. A caseira Deise caprichou na limpeza, e como da vez anterior se colocou a disposição estando sempre muito prestativa. Recomendo e agradeço a todos na pessoa da Verena, que nos atendeu prontamente. Espero poder voltar em breve e ser surpreendido novamente de forma positiva. Divanir

Estadia pouco agradável, limpeza deixou a desejar.

Infelizmente não tivemos uma estadia agradável na casa e nossas férias começaram com preocupações. No dia em que chegamos de viagem - depois de 10 horas na estrada - nos deparamos com uma casa mal limpa, com poeira nos guarda-roupas, inclusive achamos um alfinete de metal enferrujado em uma das prateleiras... tivemos que limpá-los para podermos colocar nossas roupas e as das crianças. Alguns fatores desagradáveis devido ao aspecto da casa que gostaria de mencionar: - os travesseiros estavam todos manchados de suor, com bolor e cheirando mal, apenas um deu para ser usado. Tivemos que dobrar toalhas para dormir e no dia seguinte sair para comprar travesseiros. - os banheiros estavam sujos, com restos de sabonetes usados e uma crosta de sujeira nas janelas com teias de aranha. - almofadas e assentos do sofá da sala e da varanda embolorados e manchados. - a aérea da churrasqueira estava suja, inclusive com fezes de animal. A caseira disse que só limparia caso fossemos usar essa área. - as camas de solteiro NÃO formam uma cama de casal como nos foi informado pelo proprietário. Em todas as camas sempre fica um espaço grande no meio. Só há 1 cama de casal na casa, o resto dos colchões e camas são de solteiro. - a casa de modo geral está descuidada: há quadros embolorados e com traças pendurados pela casa, alguns móveis parece que não são limpo há meses, cheio de poeira e teias de aranha, almofadas com bolor e manchas. Conversamos com o Charles na mesma noite, que nos atendeu rapidamente para tentar resolver os problemas da limpeza e dos travesseiros, bem como a Deise, a caseira, que até se ofereceu para ajudar a limparmos a casa na noite em que chegamos. Porém, um imóvel que recebe hóspedes deve estar pronto e limpo na chegada dos hóspedes, com móveis e objetos de uso que não tragam nenhum risco à saúde, principalmente para crianças e bebês. Apesar da ótima localização, poucos passos da praia em um ótimo condomínio eu não recomendo a casa, principalmente para quem viaja com crianças.

Adoramos, localização melhor não existe.

A casa é muito gostosa, apenas alguns passos por um lindo gramado até a praia como anunciada. Adoramos fazer as refeições no terraço com vista parcial para o mar e para lindas montanhas com mata atlântica. Mesmo sendo inverno o mar não estava muito frio, e a praia é maravilhosa. A Deise é muito simpática e nos atendeu muito bem. Curtimos a churrasqueira no jardim. Soube que já instalaram TV a cabo o que pode ser bom para dias de chuva, mas não fez falta. Aproveitamos cada minuto. Voltaremos.
