Beautiful property! Once you get there (it is a long, slow drive from the main road) the cabin is paradise. Well kept, view over the water, private dock, a small boathouse with everything you need, and the hosts are super responsive when questions arise. Highly recommend.
Lovely cabin in secluded area of Upper Saranac Lake with great lake access (canoe, kayak, SUP). Clean, updated, well maintained, interior with Adirondack furniture.
The house is the perfect size for me and my 3 sons. Plenty of beds, a modern kitchen, and ample areas to just relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The boathouse was able to handle our 24' boat, jetski, and kayak with ease.
The cabin was awesome. Total Adirondack look and feel. Furniture was awesome. While we didn’t use, the loft area was amazing with (2) additional trundle beds. Great for kids! Awesome screened in porch for viewing the lake. Great boathouse/deck area. We launched our canoe’s and SUP’s from there. We brought our own but there was a canoe and (2) inflatable SUP’s in the boathouse. Generally convenient to Saranac Lake, the St. Regis canoe area and Paul Smiths.
The only challenge, and it’s a small one, is that the cabin is at the end of Bartlett Carry Rd. The positive is we saw deer on several occasions.
Overall, a great (2) weeks there!!
The house, the amenities, the location, and the owners, all top notch. As soon as we got on that winding gravel road to the house, I knew we were headed somewhere special. The house was very well appointed and situated in a very quiet bay. The boat house, the fire pit, the screened in porch, all amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were large and very comfortable. The homeowners were very accommodating and also very quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend and plan on booking again for next year!

My expectations were not met. This is the most I have spent at a cabin in the adirondacks and frankly expected better. Home and furnishings smelled strongly of mildew. Constantly picking up garbage outside as animals again and again got into the garbage cans(not very secure despite placing logs on the cans to try to thwart animals)
Furnishings were adequate but mildew smell impacted by wife's asthma necessitating leaving all the doors and windows open as much as possible. Long drive in to camp(about 4 miles on dirt road) became old fast. We were not made aware of that at time of booking.
