Very clean, nicely decorated condo with one bedroom and a sleeper sofa located across the street from the Gulf with free parking. Full kitchen was a nice touch. Definitely would return.

I have stayed at Beach Castle several times and was always happy with the stay overall. BUT, this time we paid for a beachfront room and were given a beachside room. There is a HUGE difference and I am very disappointed. No view of the beach unless you go outside on the patio and turn to the side. The beachfront rooms have direct access and a direct beautiful view.

There is easy and quick access to the beautiful beach on the gulf with chairs for guest use. There is also a nice fishing pier on the bay. Beautiful scenery, fully equipped condo, laundry facility and more.

Great Location

Very clean, well furnished and great location. Would have appreciated a kitchen sponge, a roll of paper towels and more outlets (w/ power strips) to plug in all my technology. Disappointed I never received a response back on two texts I sent via VRBO app. to owner/property manager, as I prepared for my trip.

Great location!

We really enjoyed the location. It was easy to walk to beach and some shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were nice great temperature. Our unit had everything we needed and we loved the screen porch. We will definitely return in the future!

Overall, nice place to stay.

Overall the stay was good. Our apartment was clean.Nice beach access. Front desk hours limited. Hot tub was colder that the pool all week. We said something about it the first day and everyday after that, they said it would be fixed the next day, but it never was.

For the unit that we were in - we had millions of little sugar ants, the one arm-chair on the right was so bad it almost caved in when you sat in it, the front door had no complete lock so we were sitting watching tv with the door double locked, and a maintenance man came in with his key, the sink area light was very mysterious - without any instructions we found out if you turn it on once it is very dim, turn it off and turn it on again it gets brighter? .

Worst place ever

The apartment was dirty, bathroom was disgusting and not even talk about the kitchen. We found a dead animal on the chair. The carpet was dirty as well and with animal hair. The location was not what they had advertised. We didn't stay the whole time we check out before even though we didnt get our money back we had to rent somewhere else. Waste of money and time.

Quiet Retreat

Much needed short stay vacation on beautiful LBK. Beach Castle is located on N end of island with great restaurants nearby, I chose to go with take out. Having chairs available on the beach was key - no lugging. Kitchen had the basics though I didn’t need much. My only recommendation is that owner of the unit needs to invest in high speed internet with adequate bandwidth. Office manager was helpful and thankfully I didn’t need to check in with work.

Not a great experience

My first issue was the bait and switch. I picked a “beachside room with a view” and got a basement type room. Had to go out on the porch and stand on my tip toes to see the beach. I raised an issue and the on-site manager wouldn’t move me to the actual beach property because i was only booked for 3 days and the 3!!!!!! rooms that were available...that’s right...3 rooms were available and they wouldn’t move us. Second problem: kitchen hadn’t been cleaned. We checked in at 3:30. 30 minutes early I guess? But the fine print says check in is 4-5pm? 1 hour check in window? Oh...and my family found 6 dead roaches. Third and biggest problem. Bed bugs. That’s right...bed bugs!!!! The on-site for that experience was worse. Initial she didn’t seem like she wanted to deal with us. Reluctantly gave us a room with zero view and then told us we could move to the other room, but to leave all our stuff in the first room until the bug guy could come...and he wouldn’t be there until the next day! Luckily he came by like 2 hours later...screwed up our day plans...the actual RVA manager had come in by then and offered a better room with the view, but by this time my parents had settled in and didn’t wanna move for a 3rd time. The main RVA manager was nicer and made an effort, but the whole experience wasn’t great for a 3 day weekend.

A gem in the beach

Excellent hotel for a family trip and long stay. Full equipped at the kitchen and beds, whatever you need you will have it at the kitchen drawers. Nice beach at the hotel. Close to Siesta key beach, etc.

Perfect for our visit

Proximity to the beach was perfect. The beach chairs and umbrellas were so convenient. The unit had been nicely renovated. Beds were great. Wished were were on 2nd level for a better view of water but loved the beach access! Pool was a bit removed from the beach so we did not use it. Longboat key is beautiful!!
