    Accommodations: The Beach on Longboat Key is a relaxing, yet modern retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, located mid-island on Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including studio, hotel, one- and two-bedroom units. Enjoy all the amenities of home in these fully furnished condominiums including LCD, flat-screen TVs, full-sized kitchen or kitchenette with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, private patio or balcony (2 brdms only), dining area, and modern, yet beachy, décor.



    Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of The Beach on Longboat Key #101 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Amazing location right on the beach! Bit of a weird layout but who cares; had enough room to sleep 5 comfortably and absolutely beautiful scenery right out the backdoor!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the unit 101 at the beach for its location and layout for our family. We did have a broken dishwasher which didn't bother us as we usually use paper products on vacation. This is our second stay with RVA. Both times we reported maintenance needs. Neither were addressed during our stays.

All of the beds were very uncomfortable, and I even considered coming home early because of them. If they replaced the beds, I believe this place will get repeat customers. Otherwise, I don't think I'll come back. The nice things about it were beachfront and nicely heated pool.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We lived the location of this unit, directly on the beach. However, the unit needed to be painted, deep cleaned, and updated. The dishwasher didn’t work well, the furniture was outdated in the main living area, and there were things that were sub-standard overall, like the lighting(not enough) and the water never got hot enough. The place needs to be refreshed. The bedroom was the best part of the unit, as the furniture had been updated and the mattress was comfortable. I wouldn’t rent this unit again, unless there are changes made.

Living area very nice, very clean, lanai spacious and private with easy access to pool. Kitchen had nice appliances and eat-in area. Easy access onto Gulf of Mexico Drive-lots of restaurants within a short drive-be sure to check out Lazy Lobster and go over bridge to Cortez-Seafood Shack-great food and prices-seafood super fresh. My husband and I would highly recommend The Beach!

Great beachfront rental in an excellent location, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The main bed was very comfortable, and the setup works especially well for couples or families with two small children. For us, the second bedroom ended up functioning more as a middle space/changing room, which worked fine, though I do wish there had been a bit more clarity on the layout beforehand, as it’s more of a walk-through area between the living space and main bedroom with a trundle bed setup. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a nice ground floor unit. Easy in/out with luggage and right out to pool and beach. Had good outdoor furniture and the lounge chairs on the beach were an added bonus. Only slightly odd thing is that the door into the unit opens directly into bedroom. Didn’t bother us since we were all family. I’d definitely stay here again.

Overall nice stay. I’d rate the building as a three star level hotel. Beach view was obstructed by pool equipment, but the sky was big. I’m an Interior Designer so I notice such things more. But it is ON THE BEACH. The paint job wasn’t great on the walls. Rather sloppy. Missing shelf in primary bathroom. Oddly low mirror in secondary bathroom. No mirror at all in primary bedroom…could use a full length, or any really.
End unit did have extra light from side windows, which was nice.
Nice smaller building.
