Beautiful stay here. Restaurant was fantastic and they prepared special dishes to meet our vegetarian needs. Buffet breakfast with fresh cappuccinos was wonderful. Room was impeccably clean with daily cleaning service. This was our second time here and we are hoping to return to this authentic Tuscany resort. You will likely not find a better place to stay at in Tuscany.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at La Sovana in their apartment complex. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with kitchen. It was the perfect set up for 2 couples to share. My only wish was that it included a washer/dryer set up. Laundry is available for a fee which we did use but it would be nice if there was washing capability in the apartment itself. The staff were super helpful, the property is clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant is very good as well. We would definitely return to La Sovana.

The most beautiful property I have ever stayed. Delicious wine and olive oil. Free wine tour included with your stay and the staff set up horseback riding for us with a nearby place. Very nice tennis court and pool. Very nice sitting area outside our room with a gorgeous view. Dinner was delicious too and they were able to accommodate vegetarian.

Friendly staff and great food! We had a Saturday dinner on arrival (pricier than weekday dinners but the pici pasta and florentina steaks were delicious) which was really a wonderful experience. The breakfast was tasty. Staff were always friendly. The property is great for walking around and so picturesque.

Lovely stay in Tuscany!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful! The food was fabulous, the wine tasting was an added bonus and the grounds were wonderful for exploring! We felt very relaxed and at home here.

Exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained domain with lots of greenery. Food and wine (produced by the estate itself!) were truly excellent. Quiet and peaceful ambiance, very friendly staff. Easy to reach, close to the A1 motorway. Rooms were a little dated, but comfortable and very well maintained. Close to some beautiful nature areas and lovely Tuscan villages. Siena and Perugia are also very easy to reach.

My wife and I stayed one night here. And we had a memorable time here. The dinner, we made reservation by email in advance, was the most delicious meal in Italy. And the atmosphere was the best as well. We want to visit Italy again only for Sovana!

I have nothing but rave reviews for this resort!! I came with my 2 sisters for a special birthday trip and the second we arrived there our jaws were on the ground when we saw how beautiful this place was. Seriously the pictures online don’t do it justice! When we arrived Fiorella greeted us and immediately treated us like family. She made sure every aspect of our stay went smoothly. We felt bad because we were new to Italy and had a million questions everyday but she was truly our little fairy godmother helping us navigate our days! She helped us plan and coordinate our visits in the Tuscan countryside and even booked wine tastings for us since we didn’t know what we were doing. She is fantastic with planning and just being available to help and was just such a joy to talk to! We didn’t rent a car which in hindsight I almost wish we did because getting around isn’t the easiest since there are not a ton of taxis in the country side but the owner of the resort Guiseppe was so kind and helped get us to our destinations a few times which he did out of the kindness of his heart! The other staff members also called and arranged taxis when available for us! They truly treat you like a part of their family here. We did a wine tasting of their homemade wine and it was all so delicious! We all ended up ordering wine and olive oil to be shipped home so we can enjoy it when we miss Italy! Honestly, every staff member was beyond wonderful and we couldn’t have picked a better place! 10/10!

Could be paradise...

The place is enchanting. Wonderful nature, peace, privacy. The property is nicely kept under the vigilant eye of the amazing Mr. Olivi, with great care to details. Comfortable room, though at 3-star level (sheets, towels, bath accessories). Food was OK, but it could (and should) be great to make this place really top-notch. In an Agriturismo, you expect to eat all natural and locally produced (even on site) foods. Breakfast in particular was not up to par with limited options and unremarkable industrial ham, sliced bread, jams and juices. We ate two dinners at the property, both of which were really good, but the fixed menu with undeclared appetizers and desserts can yield unpleasant surprises (it did to us).
