"Was pleasantly surprised by how efficient this little cabin was with no electricity! It was the perfect place to come back to after days of hiking in the cascades. My 4 yro loved roasting marshmallows on the outdoor fire table and we loved being able to walk 2 min to a beautiful flowing creek. Space was super clean and had everything we could need in a little kitchenette to prep for the day- Sarah was also very easy to get in contact with! The location is close to the little downtown and easy to access the national park. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"The property is very nice and overlooks some animal farm land with mountains in the distance. The beds were comfy and the kitchen fully stocked with utensils. The location is very close to North Cascades park - we were hiking every day so this was very convenient. Communication was great - Steve responds very fast. We appreciated the access to washer and dryer (separate entry - to be shared by guests of both houses on the property). We also appreciated that the host left bear spray and bug spray inside for guests - at the end of June, it was bug season there. In town, there was a great burger place (forgot the name but it has lot of international flags on top) - the burgers were amazing. Oh ... and if you are into stargazing (I know - it clashes with going to bed early and waking up early), oh boy what a treat ... we were able to distinguish the Milky Way and so many other stars and constellations - there is barely any light pollution so if the sky is clear and the moon is past the horizon, that is a feast to the eyes. If we are back, we would definitely look into staying at the Rainbow house (annex or main) again. "

"Clean, quiet, and well organized property. Lots of little extra touches made it a nice place to stay. Very peaceful and secluded with a waterfall just a short walk away. The sound of the stream flowing was meditative. It was a slightly brisk morning so we jumped in the hot tub before setting out to explore Northern Cascades National Park. Host was very responsive and you can tell she likes sharing the cabin. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. "

"This home was exactly what our family needed for our visit to the North Cascades. While a bit far from the park, the drive was enjoyable and beautiful to take in. The property itself was well maintained, clean and spacious. Our adult kids loved relaxing in the hot tub after days of hiking. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and even left some very nice welcome treats for the family when we arrived. This is an amazing place to stay for your trip to the region. I highly recommend this lovely property!"
