Very nice historical hotel. Easy access to all attractions. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Daily entertainment with complimentary wine a unexpected treat.

This hotel values its past over comfort. Our room had an ancient tub surrounded by a shower curtain and no grab bar. The toilet was tiny. There are apparently many such rooms. You need to know to avoid them. A lovely downstairs and excellent adjoining restaurant do not make up for seedy and noisy rooms. Or an alarm clock that went off at 5:30 am! Not coming back.

Loved the Southern charm of this property and the staff from valet to check in were very welcoming. We arrived on a social event being held in the hotel lobby a happy hour trivia. We arrived too late to participate in the trivia but observed the results of the trivia with a complimentary glass of wine. The included breakfast was delicious and a unique checklist buffet style. Lots of shopping outside your door. Loved the adjoining bar.

Although there were redeeming characteristics the one star rating is that we got a terrible sleep between the noise of the air conditioner and the street noise we got virtually no sleep. The hotel said they would have accommodated the room charge but because I booked through Expedia and not them directly that they could not.

The free breakfast and HH was nice. They also gave us complimentary water. The location was also very good. But overall it was just too old of a property for me. The floor creaked very loudly in our room. The noise level in the hallway was a bit loud. And there is no where to put your makeup/toiletry bag down in the bathroom. No counter space whatsoever which I prefer to have. I loved Savannah and plan to return but I wouldn’t stay here again. Personal preference.

Location is unbeatable. Nice and welcoming valet. Front desk nothing special. Room was terrific, though the a/c was like a freight train when it kicked on. Breakfast was good, not special. Newly renovated bathrooms were quite nice. I appreciated the historical vibe and original wood floors! Would return with slightly different expectations.

Very unique property- built in 1851! They provided a wine social with live music. Nice touch! Unfortunately bed was uncomfortable and ac was so loud we had to turn it off.

This is a beautiful old hotel, with a lovely lobby, high ceilings, and nice comfortable rooms. Every employee interaction was pleasant and professional. It's location makes everything in the historic district within 15 minutes walking distance. We used the balcony more than expected. There is plenty of street noise and the light over the bathroom sink is a bit dim.

This property is very convenient. Once I valet the car, I didn't need it again until the day I left. I would pick this hotel for my next visit to Savannah again and again.

Elevator did not work all the time. I was on the 4th floor with my 80 year old mother who was stuck in her room. When we were in our room the TV was spotty or had no signal.

Savannah is a magically gorgeous town. The Marshall House is a walkable distance from everything you would love seeing. It has one of the best hotel breakfasts i have ever had. The staff a super friendly and helpful....the rooms are a step back in time...we loved our time there.

What a beautiful historic hotel right in the center of historic Savannah!! Such charm and character. The hotel is conveniently located to pretty much everything Savannah has to offer. It is close to the Riverwalk and many other attractions. The included breakfast every morning was a nice touch. The staff was always friendly and attentive. Can't wait to visit again. You will not regret staying here.

Loved everything about this property. The room was a good size, had a safe for valuables. Loved that there was a free wine social hour daily, and had trivia games & musicians as well. The hotel's location was perfect...very walkable with great coffee shops, shopping and restaurants. When we return to Savannah, this is where we'll stay again.
