"Great accommodation, close to the lake. Owner, Muriel, was very friendly and helpful. We had more family staying in different parts of Chatel (in total 13 of us) The chalet & balcony was spacious enough to invite them all over for BBQ’s. We have had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this very well equipped accommodation."

But we mainly used it as a base for day trips around the region, so that wasn’t too much of an issue. Easy walk to grocery and train station, and a nice walk along the lake to the main areas of Montreux.We were brought to the apartment from the train station by a representative who showed us around and got us settled. "This was a nice sized room with a comfy king sized bed. The building itself is historic, but the rooms are updated and modern with hard surface flooring. We were on the third floor and had a nice balcony that looked over the lake. Lots of shopping and dining options near the hotel. Easy to grab transit or Taxi/Uber as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Montreaux. "
