The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, with a hot shower and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed as we cooked every night. It was a good base for visiting various seaside resorts as well as doing country walks. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very helpful and supplied some goodies that were much appreciated.
I would have given 5 stars apart from the fact we were not aware when booking that the 3rd bedroom was off the 2nd bedroom which was not ideal for 3 single adults (getting up in the night and trying to creep through without disturbing the occupant!) but is probably fine for a family with children.

We had a lovely relaxing break at Barnscliff Heights.
We had a lovely relaxing break at Barnscliff Heights. The cottage was comfortable and the location was great as the east coast was not far and we visited, Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington and Robin Hoods Bay which were all a short drive away. Our dog loved it and the walks through the nearby forest!I can highly recommend Barnscliff Heights if you want a break to get away from it all and enjoy the great North Yorkshire moors and coastal resorts!
