"We had a few problems with the room which we reported so many times and nothing was done about it. However we loved Scarborough and the spa facilities. We would go back."

"Really loved the hotel. Bedroom is nice and simple. There are a few cracks about and licks of paint needed but otherwise the hotel stands nicely and is a comfortable place to stay. I will say the rooms on the upper floors are warm from the rising heat but the hotel provided a fan which was great. All in all a comfortable stay!"

"We stayed in the small double as we knew we’d be early evening arrival. Reception staff were very cheerful, helpful and explained breakfast time. If you’d rather have your car in their car park definitely phone and do that as on street parking is good if you can get space. Breakfast is buffet style and is very good with continental and full English available. We will stay here again."

"Jonathan went out of his way to meet/greet/help. Central location in what is still a very pleasant square with echoes of its genteel origins. The property looks like a knocked through terrace. The rooms have been freshened and made over to give a kooky feel, so every room is different. All the sanitary ware and core fittings are ancient but spotless. Basically, a good makeover of a tired interior, offering comfort and very reasonable value. We were a group of 5 pals with very different tastes but were pretty aligned on this! A good little find"
