"This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious."

The rubbish bins outside were full and upon asking a neighbor about the pickup day, received negative feedback about the owners not doing basics, like taking out the garbage. This place was nice and we were able to wash our clothes and relax in the living room. However, for the price, it was overpriced and we took it due to the lack of other lodging in the area. It met our needs...

"Due to appalling use of AI by Hotels.com I was unable to change my dates before travelling, but the staff were as helpful as possible, until I was able to speak to the manager on Monday morning. He did exactly what I had been asking before trying to effect a change through Hotels.com, offering me an extra night's accommodation if necessary. What AI cannot appreciate is that due to several ferries and often inclement weather conditions Shetland is a difficult area to pre-book, especially if travelling with a vehicle from Aberdeen. Not usually a problem, but if changes cannot be effected online it can be chaotic. Plus, Expedia should realise that many people are not able to access the internet at all times, for varying reasons. There are many areas of the world outside big cities where you cannot get a phone signal. Scalloway Hotel 110% Hotels.com nil"
