"We had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was comfortable and met our expectations. The only downside was early morning noise, as our room faced the front of the building, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. Aside from that, everything else was fine and the stay was satisfactory."

"The hotel itself is great - seems new, needs comfortable, breakfast good for an American motel. Close to a subway station and only a short ride to Manhattan. The neighborhood was shocking for us. This is in the area of the projects in Queens. It's a very run down area and we didn't feel safe walking during the day let alone after dark."

"In terms of cleanliness, spaciousness (for budget hotel in New York), decor, vibe and location, There were no real amenities but I wouldn't expect any at this price point. I would have given this hotel 4.5 stars except for one thing. The WIFI was awful, terrible, appallingly bad. I could barely check my email and forget about streaming anything. I almost gave the hotel 2 stars because of it."

"The AC could have been better. It worked fine. The problem was that the blackout curtain would cover up the intake causing the AC to shut down or work in sufficiently. So, I had to choose between blinding sunlight waking me up or sleeping in a hot uncomfortable room. Aside from that it was all good staff was great and very helpful."

"Location was fine, it’s a 5 minute walk from the closest subway. There was only one working elevator and there was no room to store your bags if you arrived early. So all of the bags were just sitting in the lobby area if you needed to leave it somewhere and explore the city while waiting for check in time. Not sure what was going on but the hotel collected an extra $100 along with the $30 fee as explained by hotels.com. Clerk didn’t say why they were charging another $100, so if you think your stay is gonna be like 289, it’ll be closer to 389 with the extra unknown fee at check in."
