"3 of our engineers stayed here whilst working in Grimsby & were really impressed with the hotel. Food, rooms & staff were all excellent & they had great views of the golf course from their balconies. Don't be fooled by the exterior! Will definitely use this hotel again if working in this area."

"An amazing hidden gem! A lovely setting, the pub was great with a huge beer garden and play area and the hotel was lovely and clean and VERY quiet - we didnt hear other people inside or out on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Beer garden was right outside our window and very busy with families and kids playing football but could not hear a peep in the room. Room also had air con but wasnt very good, and we used our Shark fan we had brought from home knowing it was a hot weather week. We ate in the pub for dinner on arrival and enjoyed their Curry night offer. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"We found the hotel to be very well placed for bars and restaurants and in a lovely setting overlooking the marina.The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.The room was very nice but the bathroom could benefit from an update,however was spotless.very good value for money.would definitely stay again."

"The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. "
