The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. "Like my stay last year, the doors of adjoining rooms get slammed at all hours, so maybe adults need reminding by a sign on the doors to be thoughtful to others.
The room was perfect, the view I wanted and paid for was better than expected.
There is of course need for licks of paint and perhaps in room furniture in need of tlc or upgrade, but for me, it adds to the "age".
If you want modern, go elsewhere but the price is reflective of the location, so all things being equal. I am satisfied with my stay. "
