"I’ve actually stayed here before and it was around the Christmas holiday several years ago. This time I was on the seventh floor and I really enjoyed the view. The sunrise on Christmas morning was spectacular. The room was clean and very spacious. The fact that I got upgraded to a two bedroom suite was the icing on the cake! I had invited my daughter and her three children over for Christmas Eve dinner and it was so nice to be able to cook food and serve food for everyone without being cramped or crowded. It was just wonderful and I look forward to doing that perhaps for Christmas 2026 as well !!"

"This house is on a small side channel of the North River, with a considerable marsh next to it. It's a quiet peaceful spot with gorgeous sunsets and especially sunrises. It's a ten minute drive or so into the main part of Beaufort. The house is comfortable and clean. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (though no salt--bring your own) and the porch is wonderful for sitting outside and taking in the view. There are a few small maintenance issues that I expect will be fixed very soon. But over all it's just a great place--we have stayed here several times. And personally my favorite thing is sitting on the porch taking pictures of all the interesting birds!"
