With views towards the sea this generous sized property, completed in 2021, is set over three floors and finished throughout to excellent standards; a perfect holiday home for you to relax and unwind with family and friends. Set in the heart of Seahouses it’s a real treat to meander to one of the friendly bars or restaurants, leaving the car parked up in the private courtyard. After dinner why not stroll along the harbour or beach and soak up the atmosphere? Seahouses has always been known for the fishing vessels and boat trips over to the Farne Islands; it is also known for the history around the RNLI and the famous Grace Darling, a museum dedicated to her in nearby Bamburgh. Walking along the beach is a wonderful experience when you get a glimpse of Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island - a wonderful sight. Kiddies will enjoy a splash in the rockpools, with the little nets that can be bought in a local shop. The boat trips are popular to Longstone Lighthouse and the Farne Islands, where thousands of seals and puffins make their home. The crazy golf house and large gift shop are popular with all ages and just a short walk from Ladyburn House. Fish and Chips at least once is a must whilst visiting the area. Further up the coast you can visit Holy Island, famous for the Lindisfarne Gospels; you must try a bottle of the Mead to take home. Alnwick is only half an hour away, with its majestic castle that was used in some Harry Potter and Downton Abbey scenes - a great experience for both adults and children. Don’t forget to look around the historic town, exploring the cobbled streets and independent shops whilst you are there. Berwick upon Tweed is only 22 miles away, right on the border of Scotland and England, where you can stop off and maybe visit some of the border towns. The beaches up the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty remain unspoilt and underpopulated, so there is always somewhere to find more seclusion should you wish. Beach 1 mile.
