Sebastian Inlet State Park

Sebastian Inlet is Brevard County's best spot for surf fishing. I got there right before sunrise and there were plenty of anglers on the pier. It was a special way to ring in my 54th birthday – this is the area I moved to in Florida 38 years ago. #AquaTrove

Just south of Sebastian Inlet State Park we found what we thought was a hidden beach. With only a few cars parked on the side of the road marking the small pathway to the beach, we expected to be almost alone.

We were surprised to see the beach dotted with locals out for their daily catch of fresh fish.

What a way to spend the day! Beautiful surprise.

The first room (villa) was substandard - not at all close to the photos - quite misleading- I requested another room and they gave us a “flat” which was better but we realized the patio door (we were on the first floor near a heavy traffic area)- the door would not lock - they sent maintenance but we missed our reservations because we didn’t want to leave the room until it was fixed - then we experienced a lot of the lights flickering and we had plans on eating at their “Barbarann” food van and it was closed due to a “private event” on Friday night.
