Very polite staff but the property is very tired and not well maintained with 1 room not having any soap and beds be stored in the open at the stairwell. The rooms both needed a deep hoover around the edges. Parking is also very expensive at £10 a night with no guarantee of keeping the spot if you leave. The pictures of the rooms are not representative of the rooms received

Very friendly and efficient staff who go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy. The breakfast was great with so much to choose from and hot food was presented speedily.

The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!
