I stayed at the Grid Inn for about 7 days and had a pleasant time! The room was clean and staff were so kind and helpful. The Grid Inn is conveniently located by the Jogno3ga station with cafes and many to-go/restaurants near by!

I booked for 3nights but stayed there for 1and 1/2 night. I paid ₩270,000 in cash in front. My overall experience at this inn isn’t satisfactory. There was a front desk right in front of an elevator and there is a person seating, usually either one of owners. Whenever I go in and out, I felt that I was kept monitored, checked and screened by businesses owners. One early morning with my friend, I was so upset and frustrated with a man in the front desk, deemed to owner, blocked by him saying not allowed to go in together. It was first time ever, with single room wouldn’t bring their individual friends as it is a violation of their hotel policy. Someone with privacy in their mind, highly not recommended.

Thank you for your review. Our hotel has a small front desk and lobby. Single rooms are for one person. We declined the guest's offer to sleep with his friend in a single room. Going forward, our policy of allowing only one person to sleep in a single room will not change. thank you

Wonderful hotel and the staff are really kind and welcoming. It was really quiet with comfortable beds and all amenities you would expect. I was concerned about reviews I read before staying that said the hot water was unreliable in the winter months but we had no issues with it at all during December everything worked fine. The only thing that could be improved would be to open the cafe for breakfast, even if it costs extra. We knew before we stayed that there was no breakfast so not a problem but it would be great to have the option right downstairs. There are plenty of places nearby though.

I was pleasantly surprised with the room since it was for 3 people - the bathroom was more spacious than expected! It is a pretty old building though but it was great for my stay

The room was small, but comfortable. The hotel is located super centrally, so if you are on a budget and want something relatively comfortable -- this is a good choice.

Stayed here more than once during a trip. Building is quiet, has laundry, and foreigner friendly. Easy access to transit and the area is very walkable.

The Grid Inn is a pleasant hotel that is conveniently located, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were small, but adequate and clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. The only disappointment was that the coffee shop was closed, which made it a bit inconvenient for breakfast.

The accommodation was quiet and had laundry facilities which was convenient. The rooms are small but clean. The area is walkable and has easy access to the subways. Great nightlife area.

Once we figured out location of hotel, ( we kept going around in circles--google map doesn't work well in Seoul- use Naver) then we realized how conveniently close to transit this hotel was..😃..look up & see signage too. Our room had two beds: single & queen and room for a storage unit which had shelves for clothes; rod & hangers; safety deposit box & bottom area for storing luggage--very handy. It had a good layout such that you are able to walk around freely without feeling like you were squished. Only issue was the shower which had no lip/ ledge on bottom so water was not contained within shower area. Bath mat would get wet. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this place. It even has a rooftop terrace which we used in the morning & night

This was a great place to stay for a solo trip. The room was small but the perfect size for just me and the shower was wonderful! Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooftop area was a nice place too. Felt very safe and was very quiet. Also super close to the subway entrance and the airport bus drops off nearby. The only downside was that usually I had to walk thru a bunch of people smoking when going to and from the main road. This isn't the hotel's fault though; just a head's up if you're sensitive.

The Grid Inn was a great home base for exploring Seoul. You can easily walk to Insadong and Ikseondong Hanok Village where you will find a multitude of cute cafes to explore. The hotel has a washer and dryer in the basement for guests to use free of charge which was very nice given the soggy conditions we had on our trip. The rooftop seating area is also an amazing spot to end your night with a beverage and bag of chips from a nearby convenience store while you check out the city lights. Overall this is a great value for your money. Would highly recommend!

Given the price point, theres really nothing much to complain about. Location near subway, bus stop and airport bus. Room is small but clean and has all the necessary ameneties (except I would really like if there is a chair in the room). Theres even a washer and dryer. But whats more impeccable is the staff. All of them are very friendly and helpful. I checked out for a night as I was travelling to another city and asked if i could leave my luggage overnight 2 days before checkout. To my surprise on the morning of checkout, the staff on duty was already alerted of this request without me having to repeat my question. When i returned to the hotel for the rest of my stay, the luggage was already in my new room! The staff also went all out to show me directions, literally walking out of the hotel to direct me. Truly a gem.

Great little hotel - well placed for tourists
Great little hotel tucked away just off main road very close to Metro subway and bus-stops. The surrounding area is full interesting speciality trade shops and street food vendors. Staff were excellent, friendly and keen to help. Free laundry onsite service was much appreciated. Room was clean and at 11 sq metres about standard size for Seoul area - but well organised.

It was great stay for shopping and food holic. Subway station and bus station are close from the hotel, and these operate until midnight. The room was clean and cozy, so I’ll stay there also next time.

We loved that this property was so close to many shops, food establishments and transportation. It was located in a great little community and perfectly located in Seoul for an excellent overall experience. The staff was so helpful and kind.

The place is quiet, clean and cozy. It’s very near the airport bus station so I don’t have to walk a long way to the hotel. There’s a lot to eat around here. Very near the metro station. I could walk to some sightseeing places also. Super convenient.

Hôtel simple mais correct
L'hôtel est simple mais correct. Les chambres sont basiques et toutes petites mais confortables. Nous restions une seule nuit en transit et cela nous a très bien convenu. Dommage néanmoins que toute la partie restauration soit fermée : pas de petit déjeuner et impossible de dîner sur place le soir alors qu'il y a une grande salle de restaurant dans le restaurant.

Very good no frills hotel. My only negative is that we requested a second blanket and didn't receive it. Good location close to Insadong/Ikseondong area.
