"Very convenient to the train station, easy to access, very quiet, great shower and amenities. If you are looking for a place close to Sangenjaya or Shibuya, this is a good local area. The only improvement I could suggest is softer pillows :) "
"Great! Self check-in, a quick walk from Yōga Station, and a quiet neighborhood. I'm short so the room was cozy, but if you're tall/large it may not be as easy to use. Otherwise great--small balcony, a deep tub, and a washing machine."
"This apartment is in such a good location! Very clean, quiet, comfortable mattress, shower with good heat and water pressure, nice washing machine, nice kitchen. The two queen beds are squeezed in one room, so you have to climb over one mattress to get to the other. There was only two of us on this trip, so we did fine. Very close to the train station. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The only thing that I would say is that they are quite strict about the 10 AM checkout. It was...

"Our stay at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyo was excellent from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, polite, and very helpful—they even refrigerated my medicine and ice packs for our return trip, which I really appreciated. They also delivered extra pillows to our room quickly with a smile.
The room was spotless with a perfect view right over Shibuya Crossing—an unforgettable sight at such a reasonable price. The size of the room (and the bed!) was just right for two adults, and we were very comfortable. The private bath was clean, stocked with earth-friendly products, and featured a bidet toilet. The water pressure in the shower was incredible—it could do it all, anything from watering a houseplant to power-washing a driveway, at whatever temperature you like, all at the turn of a knob. Towels were thick and absorbent, and thoughtful touches included a full-length mirror, two comfy chairs with a coffee table, a desk, small TV, and a fridge with a built-in thermometer—perfect for anyone who needs to monitor medicine storage.
Blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with a nice restaurant and café inside. Right outside, there’s a great food market and a French pastry shop, and of course you’re right in the middle of everything Shibuya has to offer. There was even a free interactive ghost story attraction nearby—but I was too much of a scaredy cat to try it since one of the features was spooky sounds coming from all directions!"
"This is a phenomenal, first time to Tokyo, stay that everyone should have! It is in the heart of Shinjuku with all the entertainment, restaurants, bars, hustle and bustle energy that gives you the true Tokyo experience! Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Their customer service is phenomenal. They have laundry. We had a city view that was spectacular. The Godzilla head that lies on the eighth floor, where the reception is, makes for a fun vibe! This hotel caters to tourist, which is nice for a first time stay. I was so impressed that I rebooked this hotel on the tail end of my trip after going to Kyoto. For sure I will book here again. It is centrally located and walking distance to a major train station. When booking be aware that some of the rooms are under 200 ft.² so for a solo traveler that’s fine especially if you’re not planning on being there long. The second time around I chose a room that was over 300 feet which was much more spacious and worth the extra money!"
"This hotel is in a very convenient but quiet area of Shibuya. Walking distance to many attractions with lots of restaurants nearby. The room was small but that’s expected of Tokyo. Room was clean and comfortable. "
"Very good service overall. Quite accommodating, fast , and polite. They provided all that we need from storing our belongings while we travel to other cities, to boxing supplies for our stuff that we bought to back home. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back. "
"Very clean and very easy to travel from hotel to the Tokyo cities. The train stations are about a ten minute walk or less. The staff is very friendly as well! They have luggage storage services so you can adventure before check in and after check out! Highly recommend staying here. The surrounding area has a variety of thrift shops and restaurants."
"I only stay in Shibuya when I have to - it’s too crowded for my taste. If you have to be there, this is a terrific place to stay. Great food (breakfast), lovely staff, fun rooms, quiet on high levels, close to public transport. "
