"We were there during a nearby Wildfire. We had to look else where for meals because the Hotel was helping provide meals for fire fighters.
However, the staff was great. If we are back in the Avalon area next year, our first choice will be Hotel Harbour Grace."

The room we stayed in felt so "palatial" and was beautifully lit with such elegant touches to the decor - a huge bed with fluffy coverlets and a luxurious bath area. It was as comforting as it was elegant with silverware, fireplace, chandeliers, even! The dining area for all guests was sunlit and cheery; had wonderful food and a garden view. One truly feels the warmth and patience of the host. I totally feel guilt-ridden about what nightmare guests we were, due to several issues on our part. Only the BEST of guests is what Belle Manor deserves. Anyway I am so grateful to Belle Manor for all of its efforts and the enchanting memories it will bring to all who stay there..."
