"Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Grounds were homey, with lots of lounge chairs, picnic tables, and flowers for relaxing. Room was simple and clean with old-fashioned, comfy decor. Bathroom was brand new and well-equipped. Breakfast had more fresh fruit than we've ever seen at a motel - including dates, pears, a variety of fresh berries, apples, oranges, bananas, plus nuts, yogurt, muffins, bagels, cereal, toast, and beverages. Plus, you can't beat the price! Great staff! Great location! THE PERFECT BACKPACKERS MOTEL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Manchester View. Our terrace room was spacious and comfortable, and the view was absolutely to die for—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Check-in and checkout were both very easy, and the included breakfast was a nice touch and a great way to start the day. The location is also very convenient, especially for visiting Hildene, which is nearby and was a very special place and one of the highlights of our trip. A comfortable, relaxing stay with beautiful Vermont views. We would definitely stay here again."

"What I like is the room was well stocked, very clean and the staff is very helpful. What I did not like is the parking is very inconvenient and is quite a walk which is never fun in bad weather. They need more luggage carts. It looked like they have about 5 or 6 for about a 200 room hotel. There was only one place on the property to get breakfast in the morning. There is a stove and refrigerator in the room. I had no idea before hand those would be available!"
