"On a three week trip to Europe this was our overall favorite rental.From the moment we opened the door we felt instantly comfortable and at home. The entire place is well appointed, well lit, and spotless. Check in, parking, and communication with the host was a breeze, and my only regret is not booking a longer stay. "The cottage was perfect for our first visit to Connemara. The accommodation was spacious, well presented and with everything that we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Debbie the owner lives adjacent to the cottage which made communication very easy and very help and assistance was to hand. This is a most attractive part of the Wild Atlantic coastline and well worth a visit. We will be back."

"Had a superb three night stay at the Westport Coast hotel in October. The location is simply superb, on the quay, looking out over a few boats and the bay beyond. Worth specifying a room at the front, just for the view. Accommodation is also excellent, in my view faultless. The restaurant is on the top floor with a conservatory on one side giving views towards Croagh Patrick: we caught a stunning sunset and three atmospheric mornings. Food is great. The staff are sometimes a bit too efficient, but no complaints there. It's a 30 minute walk through the grounds of Westport House into the town itself, or 20 minutes along the road. There's a car park behind the hotel but I preferred the overflow which is huge and only two minutes walk from the front door. Check in was easy. The spa is great but was suffering from some technical difficulties when we were there. Treatments were excellent. A superlative modern hotel in a beautiful vintage location. "
