The Jade Buddha Temple is one of the more beautiful Buddhist Temples in Shanghai. It's a little off the beaten path, and you have to walk a little ways from the nearest train station, but it is absolutely worth it. You have to pay to get in, and pay a little extra to see the namesake Jade Buddha, but it's not expensive. The temple is beautiful, especially when decorate for Chinese New Year.
