"I have always found this hotel good. At the moment it is being refurbished but still open. Attention and service are excellent. The improved areas are great, good hot water and water pressure, clean, good finishings, comfortable beds, good food. Plenty inside premises parking space."

O único problema foi o banheiro demorava muito para esquentar a água e quando esquentava ela esfriava do nada e saia um cheiro muito forte do banheiro q encontrava muito, tinhamos q deixar a porta fechada para evitar o cheiro no quarto todo. "The place is big and comfortable, the shower is perfect - hot with good pressure. Breakfast is good - eggs, bread and jam, coca tea, coffee and juice. The staff are great and knowledgeable about tours and can arrange them for you . The only negative is that there are many neighbourhood dogs which are so noisy barking all night that I couldn't sleep well. Bring earplugs. The hotel is highly recommended."

"Our host was an absolute angel. We had a tour company for a trek not pick us up and the host went out of her way to get ahold of them and help us to find another trek to go on. She was so sweet and worked so hard. The hostel was so clean, had a balcony, food options and truly I would visit again just because of our host. We will forever remember Hostel Golden Killa "

"Excellent and super kind staff with genuine desires to help! A group of us stayed here for many days and all had a great time. A restaurant in the hotel opens at 7 AM and closes at 10 PM serves very nice foods. Areas within 1.5 miles radius are full of excitements with all kinds of street vendors, all within walking distances. This hotel is very close to the city center, where courts, local police, national police and first responders are located. So, naturally, it is safe area to be. High mountain peaks are all viewable and hiking trails can lead to the local hill top that is approximately 11,000 feet above sea level, roughly 2 miles of walking. Once you’re on the top, you can see the whole Huaraz city."

"The property was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area where the hotel is located is not in the center of town, but is a short walk to many shops and restaurants. The staff to fulfill our requests. They helped us find a tour operator, which was fabulous! The only downside was that there was no heat in the rooms or the bathroom. It gets chilly at night at that elevation. It would have been nice to have some heat in the bathroom so you don't get too cold getting out of the shower. "
