Good location but poor communication
The property had a good location and was clean. It is small but ok for short stays. The worst part of the stay was communication. Checking in was difficult due to an incorrect code but we had assistance from other residents which helped enormously. Also there’s no wriggle room with code as we established it would not open even 5 minutes before check in time, despite being ready. Maybe rectifying this to 15 minutes grace would be more accommodating if the property is ready,,as after 6 hours of travel this would be appreciated. There are some items that need including.. oven gloves, tea towels, kitchen roll and bin liners. Having to realise these weren’t available would help. We use rental properties frequently and these have always been available so maybe that just set our expectations. Another issue was lack of response via the contact host on Vrbo. Questions were only answered after checking out. Parking is tricky. If taking a car be prepared to pay for parking and search locations.
