"no phone cord for the hotel phone so I couldn't call room to room and there were only 3 bath towels for 4 people but both were easy fixes. But my reservation said free breakfast and they wanted $10 for 2 people, so not sure what that was about"

"The room was awesome very modern. Great shower all glassed in. Sink out side of bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Nice room darkeing shades. Two nice tables and desk chair. Long otterman between them. No carpets. Great full breakfast. Beautiful pool with comfy lounge chairs. Nice gym. I would stay here every time I'm in"

"It's hard to pick out one thing that makes the George Washington excellent. Is it the staff? Yes. But is it the ambiance of an historic hotel? Certainly. How about the location? For sure! Can it be the memories of past stays? Oh, yes as we always celebrate our anniversary in Winchester. What about the actual room? That jacuzzi and rain forest shower, king bed, and fireplace rocks! Here's an idea...put my excellent review to the test yourself!"

"A convenient stay close to Rt 81 in western Virginia. Clean , comfortable and reasonable in a shopping center with quick access to the highway. Located in a shopping center with a number of food options including an Aldi and an Alamo Draft house movie theatre. The was clean , well appointed and everything worked !"

"Our room had no WiFi reception or cell reception because we were in the basement. The room was nice, the bathroom needed work looks like they just caulked and poorly and the tub didn’t really drain. Toilet could barely flush just paper. Breakfast was nice, staff was nice."

"Pros- close to activities, cute home, large outdoor area, supplied coffee & variety of shower soaps. Great water pressure in shower. Fire pit was nice, need to take kindling. Bathrobes provided. Cons- stairs are treacherous. Railing is not attached properly. Weeds are taking over property. Walkway is hard to walk on. AC unit works but VERY loud right beside bed. We were only allowed 1 towel & 1 washcloth for 3 night stay. I asked for more, was told no. Had to sweep patio and clean outdoor table before using. Could use more shelves, small table in shower & bedroom. Plenty of spoons & forks, but, only 2 knives. Maybe someone stole some??? Nice for 2 people, but, would be very tight for 4."
