"Close to restaurants, staff was friendly. Was in town and only stayed one night as I had a driving event at Summit Point Motorsports Park. There are 2 speed bumps at each entrance, so if you're car is low be aware of that. I was able to crawl over them diagonally, but if you are slammed, I may look elsewhere."

"My daughter and I planned a trip for snow tubing and chose to stay here. It was wonderful. They have a tavern in hotel where we had dinner. Marcia our waitress was fantastic. The room was very clean and beds super comfortable. If you are going to Harpers Ferry or tubing this is where to stay. Great time"

"Excellent breakfast, quiet and clean. There is a music venue in the back, and a couple nice restaurants next door (one a wine bar/bistro, one a vegan place). About 20 minute walk from the historic area, about a 20 minute walk from Bolivar Heights. I really enjoyed it."

"I'm so happy there is a good motel in Shepherdstown! I stayed at this motel for 5 nights while attending the CATF at Shepherd University. The motel is still in the process of being renovated, so a few standard motel-pieces are missing (I could never find an ice machine, for instance). The staff are super-nice and helpful, and the rooms are extremely clean. The neighborhood is safe. Fast food, a good pizza place and a grocery store are within walking distance, and a 24-hour gas station is...
