Wells (5 miles) is the smallest city in England and is famed for its cathedral while Glastonbury (6.5 miles) is renowned for its Tor, and both have a lovely cafe culture and plenty of amenities, including weekly street markets. You are also 1 mile from the famous Glastonbury festival site. Bruton with its eclectic mix of shops and restaurants is within 12 miles. Other places of interest include Cheddar Gorge (13.5 miles, the historic city of Bath (22 miles) and discount shopping at Clarks Village (8 miles). There is also a good selection of National Trust properties to explore.
