"Very convenient location, lots of walkable shops and grocery stores, winter and summer sports equipment rental shops, right in front of the Lake Tahoe, great view, the hotel has a dry sauna, outdoor firepits, which adds ambience. The gold club right next to the hotel. What I didn't like: since we were at the first floor, we can hear guests above our room walking or dropping things, it was little bit loud, the walls are not soundproof enough, even in the morning you can hear guests walking on hallways, and it was loud. "

"The location is great at the top of the hill! It has a very large gathering space which is attached to the kitchen so everykne can be social together. The rooms are downstairs, and there are 2 bathroom/showers (one upstairs and one downstairs), which was convenient. Its close to many great spots to visit with beautiful views just about anywhere you go. The wifi wasn't working at the time, but we had data access and were able to use mobile hotspots, so that wasnt a problem. We did not use the washer/dryer while there, but it looks nice. They allowed us to use their towels and dishes, which is very kind of them! The TV works great, the fireplace is wonderful, and there was more than enough seating. The sauna and the spa were both perfect ways to calm down at the end of the day.There was no wildlife that we saw at the house, but they're around! It is so quiet at night, it felt like we were the only ones there. There was construction going on right behind us, which they were gracious enough to give us a discound becuase of, but we didnt have to worry about that over the weekend. The only thinkg I would say i didnt like was how close all the houses were, especially with another one being built. There isnt very much yard space, so its not necessarily ideal to hang out outside, but that wasnt a worry for us at all. We had a great time indoors and visiting the local attractions. "

"I stayed at PlumpJack inn for a wedding I was attending down the road. I stayed for one night. My check in time was very close to the time that the wedding ceremony started, so I was a bit nervous that I was going to be scrambling and possibly late to the ceremony. I arrived in the late morning to PlumpJack and asked reception if there was any way I could check in earlier. They said they would call me if they were able to get another room made up/cleaned before my reservation check in. I was more than satisfied by the staffs' kindness and ability to make swaps/changes to get me into my room a bit earlier, on a weekend that was very busy for the hotel nonetheless. The staff was beyond kind, caring and accommodating to our needs. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Olympic Village! "

"A beautiful house in a beautiful spot uphill from the lake! Great mix of lake and trail access. Good, well-equipped, and comfortable home base for a week with extended family. Perfect for 8-10; 12 might have been a little tight, with kids and couples having to line up just right for the beds."
