"Where do I even begin… this trip broke my heart. What was supposed to be a celebration of our 7‑year anniversary — something deeply meaningful to me, my wife, and our son — turned into one of the most painful experiences we’ve ever had while traveling. I trusted what I was shown during booking, and when I later learned the charges didn’t match what I expected, I felt confused, stressed, and completely unsupported. I reached out hoping for clarity, but instead I was left feeling dismissed and alone in trying to figure it out. When we finally arrived, things only got worse. The resort conditions were nothing like what we hoped for. The hallways had a strong odor, the bathroom switches were dirty even after I tried to clean them, the room had a smell that made us uncomfortable, and the balcony concrete floor was so unclean it was embarrassing. I work hard to give my family moments to remember, and instead I spent the entire trip feeling like I had let them down. This was supposed to be a joyful milestone for us — young adults who built a life together, celebrating love, commitment, and family. Instead, I spent most of the time fighting back tears. I would never speak poorly of a business without reason, especially as a small business owner myself, but the reality of this stay was heartbreaking. The photos and reviews did not reflect what we experienced, and it left us devastated."

"The section we stayed in was definitely older construction. When we got into our room there was moisture all over the floor near the AC unit. It made the bedding in the room feel damp as well. Our first full day we came back to the room to find our door was left unsecured by the cleaning staff. At one point there was a roach in the bathroom. On our last night we returned to the hotel after dinner and putt putt to find no parking and security suggested their “overflow” lot down the street. Upon going to their overflow lot it was approximately a block away and I was not comfortable parking my car in what looked like an abandoned business and walking that distance back to the hotel in the dark with my children. I asked the front desk if there were any other options only to be told the same thing and to be told security checks it. I ended up circling the parking lot for maybe 15 mins until thankfully someone opened up a parking spot. I definitely will not be back and would certainly not recommend to any one else."

"The views and the proximity of the rooms to the beach are simply incomparable. Everything else was fine, but I would recommend that—if they aren't going to install an elevator—they at least build a ramp so that guests can comfortably transport their suitcases and belongings to and from their rooms. The number of guests complaining about this very issue is countless; they should have done something already."

"It was a decent hotel the only problem was that the floor was wet. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the whole floor was wet. We tried to take a towel and dry the floor but it didn’t do any good. I’m not sure where all the moisture was coming from, at first I thought maybe humidity but we just don’t know."
