"The car park was easy to find but due to its layout difficult to negotiate. The property was lovely, very old as expected."

"The room was clean, spacious and well furnished,and the hotel itself looked luxurious. The staff team were professional and polite. The prices of the food in the restaurant were a bit too high and the service thwre was slow, but the experience was still good. I'll definitely stay in the hotel again,and cant wait to use the spa next time."

"The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . "

"Fantastic staff both in the evening and at breakfast. Good quality breakfast and clean tidy room. Only negative would be the lighting from the ‘Burger King’ out the black which did come in round the curtain…. I’m pretty light sensitive but was still nice"

"This beautiful listed building is set in very peaceful and calm grounds. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved the jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. The owners have plans to update the rooms whilst keeping the wonderful character of the hotel. We loved our stay here."
