"Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. You may get locked out if you are a late night player. Turns absolutely dark at night even the walkways and stairwells to the rooms, so keep a flashlight on hand.
I give 2-3 stars, only for the...

First impressions are deceptive when you arrive, it is a large hotel !
Clean and well appointed, it offers good value for the price, considering similar prices offer so much crap elsewhere in India......
My girlfriend loved the room, ( my opinion is never important) bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. In-house food is quite acceptable, but only had chinese rice and noodles.
In-house taxi to Shimila Mall is 200 rupess, and 10 mins away.
