The room was basic but clean. The bed very comfortable. I stayed in the winter, so the room was cold sometimes. The rest of the hotel was clean but very cold. I don’t think they put the heating on. This made my stay uncomfortable.

A lovely place to stay in a perfect location in the city. The bar staff are among the best we have come across, they are super friendly, expertly creating cocktails and a wonderful atmosphere. All the staff are brilliant and very friendly.

We arrived early on the train and asked if they would watch our bags until check-in. As it turned out, the room was ready even at 10 a.m.! The room was clean and modern with a large television. Very friendly and helpful staff, good sized room in a great location. Lovely to have all the expected amenities including bath, hairdryer, wifi and tea and coffee. Only two gripes - I struggled to get more than a lukewarm shower, and there quite a lot of noise from within the hotel.
