"This location and space worked perfect for our vacation. The renovation was done very well, and the Cottage was actually roomier than expected. Everything was clean. Placing the second toilet outside was brilliant! It added additional privacy when needed :). The location was great. Easy to get to all the places you wanted to go. Easy walk to Poipu Beach if you don't want to drive there. There is an unused boat ramp right out front to walk down to. We went there multiple times a day. The provision of shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets is priceless. It allowed us to keep up on laundry and not keep damp items around. As a bonus, we arrived during a Kona low and there was not a moment that we felt unsafe. The wind and rain would have made us feel unsafe in our own home, but the cottage was a very safe refuge! We only had to contact Destination Kauai a couple times and that was during booking and found them very helpful. We were trying to keep the money spent local, and it worked out well."
