"At first impression my heart sank. The sign is in bad need of updating. That being said our room was wonderful. It was very clean and spacious. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. Dana who checked us in friendly and personable. The breakfast was fair it was bagels and yogurt plus fresh fruit and coffee. We were there 3 nights so it got a bit old. They did have a great sitting area outdoors with a fire pit. We had wine there every night. There is only One place to eat across the street. It is called the Crow Bar and the food is really pretty good. A bit expensive to us, but perhaps not to others. We really enjoyed our stay here and found there is much to see and do in that area. Overall we really loved it."

"Dilapidated building with every paint surface peeling. Hallway smelled like mold or maybe feces. The bathtub was full of dead flies when I arrived, and the floor was bending upwards at the edges. The air conditioning sounded like a jet engine and smelled like dust. Absolutely cannot recommend this place."

"convenient location to DV NP. A bit far (6 miles) from Pahrump though, this did not bother us much. It has a pizza shop but it was closed Mon/Tues, so we did not get the chance of using it. We had to drive to town for dinner. "

"Check-in was super easy, property is as described and better, Casita was spotless, the bed was the most comfortable ever, the room had every amenity, the air conditioning was great, etc. I cannot think of a thing we could have wished for. Thank you so much for a great stay! "

"We arrived at 3:00 am. I had notified the property previously of our late arrival. I had to check in with security only to find out our room was cancelled for the night because there was no credit card on file. This room was paid in full for the week. No one asked for a credit card. They just went ahead and cancelled the room. As there were no other rooms available in the area, we ended up sleeping in the car in their parking lot. They offered us nothing to make up for their unprofessional handling of our reservation. I will never stay there again. They don’t clean the room or replenish towels unless you ask. Very unprofessional business. "

"Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is amazing on the inside. Nice back patio to watch the sunset, horses, and peacocks. Plenty of space for your dogs to explore but keep them on a leash. Easy drive to Death Valley."
