"The hotel is old feeling. Still has a tub with cracks. The back of the office chair covered in dust. Food preparer at breakfast used his bare hands to place cups after cleaning the trash can with no gloves and did not wash hands in between. One of the beds smelled of urine."

"First floor bathroom shower floor was disgisting. Black mold on floor and wall tiles. Bathroom lighting was very low hard to see. Outlets near bed didn’t work. Lighting in room was terrible. Bathroom shower and toilet areas was too small. Bucket in middle of isle walkway to catch leaking from ceiling. Hotel vans parked in front entrance blocking both sides of entrance. Couldn’t get car through to load or unload vehicle. Pool was under repairs. We were not notified until check in. When checking out the front desk person was in breakfast Lounge getting a bagel. Had to wait for her to come over. "

"This is one of the worst stays I have ever had. It is a very dirty, run down hotel that appears to be not cared about at all. The outside of the property was not well kept; trash in parking lot, food, cigarette butts everywhere including right at the entrances. The carpets in the hallways and rooms were disgustingly filthy. It was dusty, stains on towels and sheets. The walls were paper thin. You can hear people stomping above and slamming doors in the halls and even conversations in other rooms. Everything about this place screams they dont care. On the phone we were told they didnt have a deposit and then they charged a $100 deposit at checkin for something so nasty and completely not worth it. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else. Id rather sleep in my car."

"The property was very well updated. Super cozy and comfy. The bed, the linens, pillows- phenomenal. They thought of details that matter to guests. Very safe and secure property. Quiet. The only downfall to me was that the deposit that was required at check in of $150 was not listed up front at booking. I believe it should be transparent. Overall, great place to stay. "

"I accidentally booked last minute for the wrong day (landed after midnight) and the staff worked with me to make sure it was all ok. Lovely quick stop before getting on the road again. Nice safe stop off 81 without having to go into Roanoke proper."

"It was clean and inviting I was given the room I reserved. The staff was respectful and friendly . Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub were undergoing maintenance and unavailable during our stay. "
