Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental.

To start out I want to be clear that this is a lovely little cottage, that had a good amount of space on the ground floor. The staircase is exceptionally steep being an old cottage, they are not easy to navigate with luggage etc. The cottage is on the main road through the area, so you do get a bit of road noise, but it's not a massive issue. The main challenge for me is that the listing on expedia is a completely different location and very misleading. The property is not in Shrewsbury like it suggests and without private transport you are restricted to a limited public transport service.
